20.01.2022 This is the final scene from the 1964 film, which is recognizing as a pioneer film that did much to promote diving in the People's Republic of China in the early 1960s. You can observe the nivel of Chinese diving in those early years.

20.01.2022 Cheers All - just a general update with regards to a DSA program reboot - As restrictions are decreased we look forward to a full program restart with the beginning of term 3. Our facility, though beautiful and generous, is still under a Government-mandated premises numbers restriction that affects all programs based there. Sadly, we are not the only programs affected. However, we believe that these current restrictions will be removed within the next week or two, allowing us to accept annual memberships as of July 1, open registrations for Learn To Dive classes and resume where we left off from in March. We are as desperate to return as we hope you are, and the continuous wait is truly frustrating for all! We greatly appreciate your patience and dedication! It's just a short while longer and we can hit the boards again!

09.01.2022 FURTHER RESTRICTION ANNOUNCED Hi Again All, Well, that didn’t take long did it? Our restrictions have escalated once again. SA Government have now made the following restrictions effective at midnight tonight for a duration of 6 days:... All schools closed All takeaway food closed Universities closed Pubs, café’s, food courts, restaurants closed All outdoor sport and physical activity not permitted (this includes High Performance) No regional travel Masks required in all areas outside the home There are additional limitations please see the SA Health or SA Police websites for the most up to date information on full restrictions. On a personal note, I wish to commend Professor Spurrier, SA Police Chief Grant Stevens, Premier Steven Marshall, and all members of the pandemic response team for making this very hard decision on our behalf. We can all accommodate these restrictions. We can all work for the greater community good to stop this outbreak and bring us back to the freedoms we enjoyed just last week. It just takes one instance of complacency for this to escalate. We all now find ourselves united in a common goal to restore public safety. It’s up to all of us. I will do more than my part. I will adhere to restrictions. I implore each of you to do the same. This will be short if we all participate to the extent that our local government has requested. As stated earlier this morning, our squad coaches will continue to maintain contact with our divers and encourage and support them to maintain a personal fitness routine, in line with these current restrictions. We are still evaluating the concept of rescheduling our SA State Championship competition to early December. The DSA Competition Committee will evaluate the facility availabilities and the COVID-Safe requirements moving forward and make a decision in the near future. Please remain patient. Again, we are hopeful this will be a short term halt to our operations, and feel confident our divers will be well supported during this intermission. We hope you continue to stay safe, well and emotionally supported during this period. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

08.01.2022 If you've EVER been curious ... now you can know! This presentation is open to all. Please follow the registration information in the post.

06.01.2022 Yet another stunning walk with a few of the squad members. This time it was a 6km walk at Anstey Hill. Who would have guessed that a few of the divers even chose to run up the hills to get to the stunning views!! But I think the highlight was the coach finding an area that must have been named after one of their training sessions. ... If you know of any other walks our divers might enjoy please share.
