19.01.2022 On Friday 11 September we held our annual Arts Open Day. Our Senior students from Cert II Hospitality prepared what can only be described as an astonishingly amazing 3 course lunch. Our budding Secondary artists were keen to show off their art work in the Hub gallery, many pieces sold that day! The afternoon concluded with some wonderful Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and contemporary dancing. Simply fantastic!

18.01.2022 Winning Together: Ranetta Kris was presented with the 2020 Caltex Best All Rounder Award, one of Australia’s most prestigious secondary school prizes, at this year's Presentation Day. The Hon. Curtis Pitt, speaker of the Qld parliament and member for Mulgrave, presented Ranetta with her certificate and medal. This year Ranetta has done a wonderful job of being one of our College captains. She has exemplary attendance, behaviour and positive attitude. Ranetta has an independ...ent and mature mindset for her future and works hard to achieve her goals. She is accountable, trustworthy and demonstrates integrity in all that she does. This is demonstrated by her ability to consistently follow school rules and encourage others to do so. In class, Ranetta is hardworking and studious. She is conscientious in finishing set classwork and willing to seek and accept help when it is needed. She demonstrates resilience and persistence in overcoming obstacles in learning and in life. Well done Ranetta.

09.01.2022 Celebrating Together: Vocational Partnerships Group Excellence in Vocational Training Award. Presented by Ms Yarum Underwood, Trainee Youth Worker, from VPG, this year's award went to Devanna Wilson-Neal. Devanna is a student who sets personal goals of high academic achievement without compromise, her positive behaviour as a student upholding school values and beliefs is to be commended. Devanna has shown that setting high standards in all areas of school life, ensures that... she is setting a great example that you can do and achieve anything you put your mind to and ensures that the future generation can also achieve outstanding results. 04.01.2022 Celebrating Together: Djarragun College Primary Dux Award. The winner of the Primary Dux award for 2020 at this year's Presentation Day was Valington Lui. Valington works consistently in all of his subject areas to achieve high results, also achieving the School Captaincy this year in Primary. Congratulations Valington.
