25.01.2022 This ones a big old 3 hour mix of deep and tech house tunes, how good! Its a live recording from a September night at Alt Bar in Ios 2015. That was my first year playing in Greece, I DJed the entire summer seasons at Alt Bar from May - September, every night from 11am - 4am (over 100 nights in a row). 22.01.2022 Mix of the Week 002! How good is house music! This is one of my all time favourite mixes. The year was 2014 and my best mates were running a clothing label called Ja Feel. They had a snapchat following of 100k and would post the craziest, funniest, party snaps from people all over the world. They were a party foundation and while we were out having an absolute bender every couple of weeks with the crew, the two boys would snap epic content for the brand. Looking back at tha...t period of my life, Ive come to realise how amazing and enjoyable it was. It was a stress free period of my life where I was super passionate about music and partying. This mix received over 70,000 plays on Soundcloud before it was taken down due to copyright infringement (devo). 19.01.2022 The Covid-19 travel bans have left me stuck in Perth for the first winter in 6 years and Im actually lovin it! My time in Perth normally consists of a lot of corporate events and weddings which are awesome to be a part of but the bar and club scene is a lot more cruisey and party based which means Ive taken my Ios style alcoholic nature and applied it to Perth! Ive got a lot of corporate events and weddings booked in for the next 8 months and it looks like this may be my ...last weekend of exclusively bar and club gigs so I am going to absolutely send it! Sunset vibes at The Reveley followed by the house party that is Bennys Yard on a Friday. Saturday is set to be huge as well, starting off at Stables which has been pretty loose lately then Im playing a house set at Geisha Bar which I am absolutely pumped for! My favourite genre for sure, and I usually dont get to play the house clubs because I have to take the longer bar sets over the 1 hour house sets as DJing is the full time job. Then Sunday is going to be a blast from the past, the noughties party at The Avenue at Club Bay View, yeah as in CLUBBA! A student night in the 2020s, with tunes from the 2000s at a club I went to in the 2010s. Buckle up fam, Shann is getting ubers all week, LETs GO!! 17.01.2022 Mix of the Week 003! What a bloody VIBE this day was! I played the first ever Season in front of about 200 people at The Rosemount Hotel in early 2017. Three years down the track and this event has grown to epic proportions. Aus Day 2020 saw some 15,000 party goers at the Claremont Showgrounds and my god it was HUGE. It was my first time mixing Drum & Bass as I was mainly a house and party DJ in 2014 when this came out. I originally released this one under the alias 'UID' short for Unknown Identity. I did this for a few reasons, one I wanted to get some honest feedback on the mix from people that didn't link it to my brand and two the fellas at Ja feel wanted some artist variety from the first mix I ...did for them a few months prior. Nowadays this is my go to running mix. The BPM of Drum & Bass is 174 which is a perfect pace for pushing yourself while running.
