23.01.2022 The official name of the new Western Australian Museum has been announced today The new museum will be called, WA Museum Boola Bardip, meaning ‘many stories’ ...in Nyoongar language. The name recognises that the museum sits on Whadjuk Nyoongar land, and honours the cultural heritage of Australia's First Peoples. It also acknowledges the shared cultural heritage of the nearly 2.9 million people who call Western Australia home. The Museum opens its doors on Saturday 21 November 2020 with a nine-day celebration. 50,000 free, timed tickets for the nine-day opening celebration events will be allocated from an online ballot. 17.01.2022 Miss Universe Australia crown collaboration. Designed by @stelios_jewellers and myself. Turned out amazing, thank you for the opportunity. Influenced by traditional Nyungar art. The round diamond circles represent water holes whilst the line work represents the landscape. The pear shape diamonds on the end of the lines represents spears for hunting. The crown is valued at $956,000.
