20.01.2022 Back to one of our beloved venues! Flamingo Lounge needed to reinstall their amplifiers and processors ready for a potential reopening in August. The main club area has a classic EAW Avalon system which was initially installed by us originally, with four DC5s arranged in a delay line and a DC6i as the final delay. Two EAW SBX220 subwoofers provide low frequency reinforcement and various smaller EAW boxes are used as fills all throughout the venue. Its always amazing to hear... the difference that good processing and amplification can make to a sound system, and the newly installed Symetrix Radius processor and Powersoft Otto and Quattro Analogue amplifiers are a perfect example of this. They breath new power and fidelity into this classic system and the results are pretty astonishing. The managers now have remote control of the audio from their phones or computers and all speakers are back up and running and ready to welcome back friends old and new come August! Last Monday was a preemptive full AV health check before the grand reopening of the Aussie Hotel today! Good thing we did as the Nightlife music system was down and there was distortion issues on several inputs. We got Nightlife back up and running and fixed the distortion, purchased and installed a new LED screen to monitor the Nightlife system and fixed up the labelling so ...all staff can easily control the audio. 03.01.2022 The view from our office today was truly spectacular! Aria Restaurant is reopening tomorrow (Tuesday July 14) and the venue needed a final check and service of their AV system before welcoming their guests back. Our team checked every speaker in the venue and found 2 that werent outputting sound. After some fault finding, both were back up and running and sounding great. ... Both flippable data projectors had well and truly rotated past their usual stopping point so both were fixed and had their start and stop points recalibrated. The HDMI input points were checked, as were the DJ and iPod points. The gains for the input points were all over the place so they were all normalised and set to the same levels as the Nightlife system giving a nice even volume no matter what input is selected. Finally a Spotify solution was also sorted for the managers to use during private functions. The system is now back at full strength and ready for tomorrow nights dinner service.
