Add 1.5 cups of grated raw potato to 1 cup of leftover mash, add one egg, 1 tablespoon milk and 1 cup fl...our, salt and pepper to taste. Mix all together, the mix should be quite soft. 20.01.2022 The great thing about mash is you can make it your own just by adding a few extras. It can be traditional, mashed with milk and butter, yes butter is better, us...e cream instead of milk for a bit of decadence. Add your extras like some chopped mint, cheese, garlic, spring onion, a touch of curry powder, herbs, smoked salt, pepper or even basil pesto. Tonight ours is sour cream and chives with some @otwayfields garlic minced and stirred through and knob of butter melting on top. 11.01.2022 Garlic cream potatoes. Easy to bake and great to tuck into on a cold, wet evening. Layer sliced potato and lightly sautéed onions in a baking dish. Mix together... cream, crushed garlic and salt and pepper to taste, then pour over the potato and onion. Bake at 180C for 45 mins, (insert a skewer and if it goes through easily, the potatoes are cooked), sprinkle grated Parmesan over the top and return to the oven for 10-15 mins until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
