22.01.2022 During this renovation in East Perth we maximised the view by removing a section of wall and a set of double sliding doors and inserted a set of 6m wide aluminium stacker doors. To be able to do this we had to prop up the suspended slab from the floor above, insert a large steel lintel and brick up some load bearing columns under the steel. The challenge was, due to the poor access, was getting the steel lintel into position. We ended up using the hiab on the back of the delivery truck and bringing it in through the small window on the 2nd floor.

12.01.2022 Bathroom renovation carried out by myself and Ian Bricklebank through our bathroom renovation company, Bathroom ID. This renovation threw up many problems and obstacles due to the poor condition of the timber framed walls and concrete sub-floor. As you can see in the photos we had to completely remove the existing slab and pour new, in addition we also had to frame out new timber stud walls.

09.01.2022 Photos from, before, during and on completion, of a renovation I managed a couple of years ago.

06.01.2022 I was contracted in by BGPA (Kings Park) to remove an existing small decked area and create a new design in the same area. This is the result.

06.01.2022 Another deck renovation at Kings Park, not a bad view, not a bad place of work!

05.01.2022 Funky little plywood and formply table.

05.01.2022 We were contacted by a client who wanted to know if it was possible to creat a shower room for their teenage son, from the existing WC. We advised, although it maybe a squeeze we would be able to keep the WC and add a shower cubicle and basin. To enable this to work we had to move the small window, which we ended up replacing with Breezeways (louvred window), as well as moving the doorway out into the existing hallway. It was a tight little space to work in, literally one trade in at a time. But happy with the result. Just goes to show what you can achieve if you manage space cleverly.

04.01.2022 This little kitchenette is in our annex, I built it from concrete formwork plywood (formply) and a Jarrah benchtop, unfortunately Im still waiting on the electrician to drop off the black GPO I ordered.

02.01.2022 Hanging plywood arts and crafts table and plywood feature ceiling in the kids area of this Swanbourne beach house.

01.01.2022 Stools or tables? Im not sure either, had fun making them, had a little help with the design from one John Henson! They are surprisingly comfy to sit on.
