25.01.2022 This week in Horsham we yarded 2700 new season sucker lambs, 200 old lambs and 550 sheep. Today our suckers topped at $218 for a beautifully presented pen of heavy 2nd Cross lambs estimated at 34 kg cwt. This week our heavy lambs sold firm to $5 dearer. Trade suckers were again heavily sought after with extra competition from restockers chasing neat 2nd x lambs with weight. Our lighter traditional restocking lambs were $10 dearer with lots of competition. Our old lambs topp...ed at $193. Today our heavy sheep sold to slightly less competition as buyers preferred to buy sheep with less fat. However we still topped at $176 for heavy crossbred sheep. Our light sheep were $10-$15 dearer with rams selling to $130. Next week Driscoll McIllree and Dickinson will be 2nd sale. Contact your local DMD agent for further information.

24.01.2022 This week in Horsham we yarded approximately 3200 sucker lambs, 500 old lambs and 500 sheep. Today we again had a beautiful line up of fresh, well presented sucker lambs which were met with strong competition with most buyers present and active again. The best of our suckers made $211 for lambs estimated at 33 kg cwt. Most of our heavy XB lambs sold $10 dearer to be making $6.20 - $6.40 per kg. Lambs made more per kg as they decreased in weight. Neatly presented Trade lambs... selling from $6.60 to $7.50 / kg. Store lambs again sold to strong competition with lambs making over $8/kg with many buyers competing to buy better bred lambs to feed on. Our sheep job was met with more buyers at the rail and sold to a dearer trend to be $15-$20 dearer topping at $184 for heavy crossbred ewes. Our trade and light sheep were firm to $5 dearer. 15.01.2022 This week in Horsham we yarded approximately 400 sheep and lamb. Today we had a smaller run of Xb lambs and sheep with some terrific finished lambs as pictured. Our lambs topped at $200 today for the 1st time in quite a few weeks with an exceptional pen of lambs estimated at 40kg cwt. Lambs were in too fewer numbers to accurately quote but sold too a dearer trend with more competition at the rail. Our sheep were also met with improved demand but were also in too fewer numbe...rs to accurately quote. Driscoll McIllree and Dickinson will be 1st sale next week. Today we had a beautiful line up of fresh we’ll presented sucker lambs which were met with strong competition with most buyers present and active. The best of our suckers made $202 for lambs estimated at 34kg cwt. Most of our heavy XB lambs sold to $6/kg. Lambs made more per kg as they increased in weight. Trade lambs sold over $7/kg for select pens of neatly presented fresh sucker...s with store lambs made over $7/kg with many buyers competing to buy better bred lambs to feed on. Our sheep followed the weekly trend and sold cheaper with less buyers competing at the rail. Our best sheep topped at $160 for a pen of heavy XB Sheep. 07.01.2022 This week in Horsham agents drew for less sheep and lambs overall to be back to 17000 total. Today we yarded 2600 suckers, 100 merino/old lambs and 1800 sheep. Today we were met with a similar field of buyers to last weeks sale. This week we had heavier lambs than the previous couple of weeks but generally had a larger run of trade and restocking lambs. Today the best of our heavy lambs topped at $228 for an excellent pen of lambs estimated at 34.5 kg cwt. This worked out to... be $8-$12 a head better than last weeks sale. Trade lambs sold generally firm to $5 better in places. Restockers paid up to $151 for lambs to go back onto feed. Older lambs topped at $205. Our sheep sale was met with a full field of buyers again. Our top sheep money was $265 for a line of heavy Crossbred wethers. Our heavy sheep sold firm to $5 cheaper while our trade and lighter sheep were $10 a head easier than last weeks sale. Rams were much cheaper to top at $130 for shorn merinos. 06.01.2022 This week in Horsham we yarded 3200 new season sucker lambs, 800 old lambs & hoggets and 800 sheep. Today our suckers topped at $233 for a beautifully presented pen of heavy 2nd Cross lambs estimated at 32.5 kg cwt. This week our heavy lambs sold $10 - $15 dearer. Trade suckers were again heavily sought after with strong competition from restockers chasing neat 2nd x lambs with weight. Our lighter traditional restocking lambs were firm to $10 dearer with lots of competition.... Our old lambs topped at $200 with an impressive line of heavy merino hoggets making to $205. Today our heavy sheep sold to stronger competition which lifted our sheep job across all grades. Our heavy sheep topped at $226 for a pen of extra heavy, wooly merino ewes. Heavy sheep were $20 dearer and our trade and light sheep sold $10 - $15 dearer. Rams topped at $156. Next week Driscoll McIllree and Dickinson will be 3rd sale. 05.01.2022 This week in Horsham we yarded approximately 700 lambs and 500 sheep. Today we had great line up of lambs off grain which sold to a larger field of buyers than previous weeks. Our heavy crossbred lambs sold to a slightly dearer trend topping at $180. Following our good run of heavy lambs we returned to our run of smaller clean up lots which also sold to more competition with pens of neat lambs under 18 kg cwt selling up to $7.50 / kg cwt. Just the 2 pens of sucker lambs thi...s week topping at $139. We had a good run of heavy Xb ewes which topped at $154 today with all sheep generally selling to a dearer trend than the previous weeks market. Rams sold to $130.

04.01.2022 This week in Horsham we yarded approximately 1300 lambs and 700 sheep. Today we had a beautiful run of fresh, sappy crossbred sucker lambs. The best of the lambs sold to a top of $142 for lambs estimated to be 23 kg cwt. Our trade suckers generally sold at $6-$6.20/kg cwt. Lighter trades sold $122 - $125. Our light Xb lambs under 18 all sold to restockers making $100-$121. Our old lambs were met with less competition today and sold to a cheaper trend. The best of these lamb...s topped at $148. Our sheep sale followed a similar trend as our old lambs with less competition pushing rates cheaper than last weeks sale. Our best pen topped at $136 for heavy hoggets.
