21.01.2022 If you have seen our models sitting in the shop window, why not come along to the Uralla Can Assist Family Fishing and Fun Day on Saturday the 22nd of February and actually see them on the water. It is being held at 3862 Thunderbolts Way, just out of Uralla heading towards Walcha. We'll be sailing from 12pm until around 1.30pm. Come on along and enjoy the entertainment with a Jumping Castle, Fishing comp, Snooker, Golf driving comp, yabbie racing, Live band Mr. T, Auction of some great items and a sausage sizzle. All proceeds go to Uralla Can Assist.

19.01.2022 A couple of photos of a big job completed last week in time for PACIFIC 2019 Naval Exposition. The new HUNTER Class Guided Missile Frigate being built for the RAN. Story and more photos to follow.

16.01.2022 Finished off s couple of little jobs earlier this week. They will be used for training and display by Army. The Bridge Erection Propulsion Boat (BEPB) I have done before in a larger scale of 1:16. These needed to be in 1:35 to match the other models we have done of the Improvised Ribbon Bridges. The Bridge Boat Interface we hadn't done before. Just a HX77 8 x 8 Heavy truck to finish off now on this project.

12.01.2022 Success at last. I received the propulsion pods for my 1:72 scale LHD HMAS CANBERRA yesterday so after some assembly, greasing up and cleaning up I thought I'd try it with just my small cordless drill at around 200rpm. Well it threw most of the water out of the sink so wondering what it will be like when hooked up to the proper Crest motors which will have them going at around 900rpm. Very happy with the results and now to fit them and I can start sea trials when it warms up a little. I'm not doing it in the snow today.

10.01.2022 A job from a while back. This was a proposed design for a Corvette sized vessel which could operate in ice of the Southern Ocean. A very distinctive vessel.

04.01.2022 Well, you never know who is going to drop in and see what is on the workbench. We were honoured to have His Excellency, General, The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Rtd) The Governors General of Australia and his wife Linda drop in for a visit this morning. Melanie was very excited to meet them and they were so interested in her, asking her about Australian Air Force Cadets and her Squadron (337 SQN) as well as her school, her future ambitions to join the RAAF as a Doctor. They asked lots of questions about the models, how we got started and how we go about creating our works as well as Teresa's laser works and engraving. Quite amazing in that the past 3 years, we have had two Governors General visit us here.
