20.01.2022 Even though we are off the tools, we will try to bring you some of our favourite home style recipes to inspire you all to bake over the next week. First up is... Nanna Rael’s Boiled Chocolate Cake... 1 C Water 1 1/2 C Sugar 120g butter 2 eggs 2 T cocoa 1/2 tsp carb Soda 1 1/2 C SR Flour ......method.... In a saucepan, put water, cocoa, sugar, carb soda and butter in and bring to boil and simmer for 5 mins and then allow to cook. Add beaten eggs and sifted flour. Bake in moderate oven for 40 mins. 07.01.2022 Get your kids in the kitchen! It’s messy and stressful but they have to learn at some stage. Food, cooking in kitchen & eating together naturally creates lovely memories for your little ones so put your OCD to the side and do it for the kids Cracking eggs, measuring out flour or just whipping themselves up a batch of damper is all part of it. ... Here’s a simple one that they can be involved with... APRICOT BALLS 2/3 C condensed milk 1 1/2 C minced dried apricots 2 C coconut Mix all together (blitz up if you have a food processor) Roll into balls and cover with coconut. Pop in fridge or even freezer to set. Happy cooking (and cleaning)

07.01.2022 Out with the old and in with the new! A recent solar job completed in the Barossa on a bakery/cafe. We removed the existing 3 solar systems from the roof consi...sting of 108 panels and 3 inverters. The old panels were only 6 years old and already starting to fail. With the increase in output in the new panels, the customer gained about 13kw of solar on the roof. The new system consists of 2 inverters and 116 panels which totals 38kw and we have export limited to 15kw. Being a bakery/cafe, the customer has massive power consumption due to baking on site therefore installing such a big system was beneficial to minimise large power bills. This was the biggest and most complex system we have undertaken as the panels were on 8 different roof surfaces! Couldn’t have done it without these 2 legends - Andrew Pech and Steve Mattschoss.
