18.01.2022 Melbourne Regatta on Sunday 28 August - Free family festival by the water. I am arranging a charter boat for the formal Blessing of the Fleet by Father Bob Maguire. This will be from 11am-1:30pm. Enjoy a cruise on the water followed by a program of music and entertainment - till 5pm. Tickets for the cruise will be $30 a head. 17.01.2022 Something Maritime is happening in Docklands this week! Seniors Week starts at Alma Doepel shed on Monday! Come one, come all. Everyone is welcome! Traditional shipwrights are "steaming" ahead restoring Almas frames. Watch in awe as they steam, bend, glue, shape, paint and bolt these huge frames into place. This may never be seen again in Docklands!

17.01.2022 Art exhibition at the Alma Doepel shed 2, end of North Wharf Rd, Collins St extension in Docklands. There will also be a paintout on the Sunday 1st May coinciding with the Alma Doepel Open Day, part of the National Trust Festival. Docklands Maritime Artists invited to attend.The exhibition will include various artists from around Australia with works in various media all relating to Alma Doepel. Artists include: Katherine Maher, Elizabeth Martyn, Peter Sharp, Don Braben, Jo Taylor, Tiffany Dryburgh, Cliff Adeney, Manwel Cassar, Annee Kelly, Roger Knowles, Ted Dansey, Mary Sowa and Maggie Cowling.
