24.01.2022 Hi these are pictures of pieces that I've finished restoring out of the last container. There are some beautiful 60s/70s tall boys and sideboards amongst this load of new stock.its been a little longer to get organized out in the warehouse because it's been so hot.which brings me to something much more important. I was watching the news this morning horrified by what's happening with fires around Australia. I can't remember anything like it,and I've been around the sun a few ...times. My heart goes out to all of the individuals,families and communities affected. It's a truly tragic situation and I'm hoping that climate change skeptics amongst the general public and more importantly our government are having to reasses their views! Not believing the science behind climate change is akin to believing the worlds flat! Sincere condolences to all of those affected. See more

24.01.2022 Hi to all of our customers and friends! I hope you are all safe and well. It's a difficult time for all of us here in Australia but it's much worse in developing nations like Indonesia,which brings me to the point of this post. If you have ever been to Bali and made some type of connection with the place and people here is a chance to help! As you probably know most of the Balinese economy revolves around tourism. As there are no tourists most people have lost their jobs and ...there is no social services help. Personally, I have been wondering how I can help in the best most efficient way. I have a couple of good friends with very big hearts who own the Orchard bar and restaurant in seminyak. They are using their premises as a distribution point for donated food which is going to those who need it most. . I have a lot of respect for these guys ,so if you can find it in your heart to donate even a small amount have a look at their Facebook page ,the orchard bar and restaurant,and you will see what they are doing and how to donate. and ,a special shout out to all of my Indonesian and expat friends,stay safe and positive! 23.01.2022 Hi, we had a variety of water garden pots in the last container.some of them are made from moulded concrete with steel " reo" .they have a hand adzed chipped finish on the exterior and I use pond tite sealant on the interior to ensure they are watertight. The black glazed stoneware pots get the same sealant treatment . To me they look a treat in the right setting in a garden and if you add a pump and goldfish people love them,particularly kids! The gold fish in the ponds/pots here get spoilt rotten by kids continually feeding them!

22.01.2022 Hi everybody,I hope you are all well and handling the situation. This weeks discounted pieces are a small solid teak tall boy and a traditional " jodang karwin" or marriage chest. The jodang has a hole in each carved end plate because these were carried on a pole during wedding processions. They have both been fully restored and finished with a hard wax. The tall boy was $985 but is now$ 695 and the jodang was$875 but is now $ 700. 19.01.2022 Hi, I hope everyone's well! This shot is of a XXL teak daybed. Even the tallest NBA basket baller could stretch out on this! It's 2.6 mt long 96 cm deep and the back is 94 cm high. It includes a kapok futon style mattress and a zip off heavy cotton cover and two cushions .

15.01.2022 Hi , I hope you are well. This weeks 20% discount specials are a couple of solid teak tables. The piece with the drawer is an origininal old dining table that would make a great desk as well. The drawer is extra deep and spans the width of the table. The second table is new and made from old teak joglo pavilion posts. It's 2:5 mt by.94 wide. I doubt I will be able to find the posts to make these in the future so stocks limited. The big dining table was$3,250 but is now$2600 and the smaller old table was $1480 but is now$1,180. 10.01.2022 Hi, I apologize to those people who have been trying to contact us via Facebook. For some mysterious reason we haven't been able to open our home page. Hmm.happily, it seems to have righted itself! The photos are of a beautiful tall boy style cupboard with twelve drawers and two doors and a shelf. It's solid teak throughout ,no plywood or mdf. I've bought it back to its original condition and finished it with a hard wax. We have reopened again with the same hours ( Friday, Saturday ,and Sunday ,10 till5). I hope everybody's fit and well! 09.01.2022 Hi! I hope everybody's well. Thankfully with no covid19 transmissions in the last 9 days we may be able to open the shop again in the next week or so,depending on how things pan out! The two pieces on sale with 20% discount this weekend are a beautiful carved east Javanese / Madurese teak day bed and the recycled teak industrial style coffee table. The coffee table has lockable castors and a nice simple deign. They are both quality pieces. The daybed was$1,600 but is now$1,280 . The coffee table was$895 but is now$715. 03.01.2022 Hi ,we have a range of beautiful fully restored original teak sideboards at the moment They are all made of wide sheet teak and have been finished with hard wax so as not to change the natural colour of each piece.
