25.01.2022 This is the third doggy family to get a thank you card that offers a couple of freeby options for attending Sunday afternoon classes consistantly for the past 12 months. Thank You Clare, Barry and Leckie.

23.01.2022 Pulling up hard to get a ball can cause all sorts of problems for your dogs body. Get your dog to wait before releasing them to get the ball is much better for them. There are lots of other games you can play too that stress their bodies even less than this video.

23.01.2022 Pavo is going around Gloucester. No fully vacinated dogs have caught it. So, please get your dog fully vacinated or don't take to place where unvacinated dogs have been. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1129037634125164&id=565188233843443

17.01.2022 This is my second private lesson with 11 year old Chase and his 7 month old Great Dane. They are such a great team. Chase is so keen and a pleasure to work with. He is doing a great job with this gentle giant using fun training games and possitive reinforcements.

17.01.2022 Saturday night I got home late and my dog didn't recognize me. Being a nanny I thought I woke him up and he was having a night terror. Sunday, he was still acti...ng weird. I realized that I had been running my new diffuser and decided to turn it off. Sunday afternoon, he was feeling better. Today at work, my dog sitter said that he wouldn't come out from under the bed. It was very odd as he is a happy dog. I came from work early and again, he was very confused about who I was. So I took him to emergency vet. It turns out that the tea tree oil I was using in the diffuser is toxic for dogs. Thankfully the test showed that his liver was ok but we weren't out of the woods yet. He was given fluids under his skin to get the toxins out. The vet and the poison control are saying that they see these cases often now that the popularity of essential oil is growing. Please make sure that the essential oils you are burning are not toxic for your pets. Here is a list of essential oils not to use if you have a dog at home Anise (Pimpinella anisum) Birch (Betula) Bitter Almond (Prunus dulcis) Boldo (Peumus boldus) Calamus (Acorus calamus) Camphor (Cinnamomum camphora) Cassia (Cassia fistula) Chenopodium (Chenopodium album) Cloves (Syzygium aromaticum) Garlic (Allium sativum) Goosefoot (Chenopodium murale) Horseradish (Armoracia rusticana) Hyssop (Hyssopus sp. with the exception of Decumbens) Juniper (Juniperus sp. with the exception of Juniper Berry) Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) Mustard (Brassica juncea) Oregano (Origanum vulgare) Pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium) Red or White Thyme Rue (Ruta graveolens) Santolina (Santolina chamaecyparissus) Sassafras (Sassafras albidum) Savory (Satureja) Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare) Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) Terebinth (Pistacia palaestina) Thuja (Thuja occidentalis) Wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens) Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) Please share this story as it may save someones precious furry family member!

07.01.2022 Jac practicing leave it without being told to leave it.

06.01.2022 Please tell every dog or cat owner you know. Even if you don't have a pet, please pass this to those who do. Over the weekend, the doting owner of two young lab... mixes purchased Cocoa Mulch from Target to use in their garden. The dogs loved the way it smelled and it was advertised to keep cats away from their garden. Their dog (Calypso) decided the mulch smelled good enough to eat and devoured a large helping. She vomited a few times which was typical when she eats something new but wasn't acting lethargic in any way. The next day, Mom woke up and took Calypso out for her morning walk. Halfway through the walk, she had a seizure and died instantly. Although the mulch had NO warnings printed on the label, upon further investigation on the company's web site, This product is HIGHLY toxic to dogs and cats. Cocoa Mulch is manufactured by Hershey's, and they claim that "It is true that studies have shown that 50% of the dogs that eat Cocoa Mulch can suffer physical harm to a variety of degrees (depending on each individual dog). However, 98% of all dogs won't eat it." *Snopes site gives the following information: http://www.snopes.com/critters/crusader/cocoamulch.asp .asp> Cocoa Mulch, which is sold by Home Depot, Foreman's Garden Supply and other garden supply stores contains a lethal ingredient called 'Theobromine'. It is lethal to dogs and cats. It smells like chocolate and it really attracts dogs. They will ingest this stuff and die. Several deaths already occurred in the last 2-3 weeks. Theobromine is in all chocolate, especially dark or baker's chocolate which is toxic to dogs. Cocoa bean shells contain potentially toxic quantities of theobromine, a xanthine compound similar in effects to caffeine and theophylline. A dog that ingested a lethal quantity of garden mulch made from cacao bean shells developed severe convulsions and died 17 hours later. Analysis of the stomach contents and the ingested cacao bean shells revealed the presence of lethal amounts of theobromine. **PLEASE PASS THIS ON**

06.01.2022 Watch to see if Jac steals any treats while I leave him to hang washing. He might have fallen asleep with treats right in front of his nose.

03.01.2022 Teaching Mini's puppies to tug.

03.01.2022 I did not say leave it. Such a clever boy. We only practice this approx once a month. If taught correctly, your dogs understands it with very little follow up training.

03.01.2022 Clare's dog Leckie has come a long way after a few private lessons. He is nervous about alot of things. He's now found confidence on the seesaw. We should video his progress on all the other equipment too.

02.01.2022 Post number 2. Have great christmas and new year everyone. Keep your dogs safe from dangerous foods and other things that they might get exposed to that they are not used to. Let me know if you recognise your dog and add a pic if you like if I missed your dog. **'Feel free to post any pictures of your dogs being clever, cute or doing something funny***
