25.01.2022 My name is Evie and I'm X-tra special because I'm a Greyhound X. I have had a pretty tough start to life. I was picked up by GAWA from the Collie pound where I... wasn't a very happy or well socialised girl, the world of humans and other dogs frightened me. I've moved around a fair bit in my short 2 years of life and then I was lucky enough to go to Allbreeds K9 Kennels where I stayed and they showed me that I could play with other dogs and be with people and not be so afraid and have to bark at them and be angry. I have just finished my training and have done so well; I am like a new dog and can't wait to start my new life. I will need to live with a family who are dog savvy and will continue training me and make me feel safe. I can be with another dog, preferably a larger one, but can't do cats, cats are too much! I will need to live in the metro area as I am still able to attend lessons once a month with Allbreeds; and my family can get help from them if they need it. I do have quite a bit more energy than your everyday Greyhound so would suit people who want a companion to go out and have adventures with. However, I do love to lay around too, just like a Greyhound and have great cuddles with my humans. Cuddles are the best! Right now I'm living with my foster carers and my Greyhound brother Willy. 25.01.2022 MUMMA LUCKY HAS BEEN TOLD ALL HER BABIES ARE NOW ADOPTED.. NOW IT'S HER TURN TO FIND HER PEOPLE.. APPROX 2YO - MASTIFF X FEMALE Lucky has had enough of being a... puppy machine and is ready to live her life. She can't wait to find her new family to enjoy cuddles and adventures with. Lucky is a real water baby, she currently swims in the pool every day. If you have a pool, or live by a beach or river, she will be in absolute heaven! It's anyone's guess what mix of breeds Lucky could be. She's med-large sized at around 20kg, and a medium energy level. She can be cautious of new people at first, but will soon make friends, and just loves to follow you around as you go about your day. Lucky is friendly with other dogs, just doesn't like to share her food. She is a real flirt and loves smooching all the boys. She'd be very happy with a male playmate at home for company. She hasn't yet met kids or cats, though as she is still learning to keep her paws on the floor, Lucky would be best with teens and up. After raising nine pups, Lucky will need a little time and TLC to get her figure and strength back. Some good food, and of course, more swimming, will surely help! Lucky is house trained, has good recall, and can walk on lead. She does need someone who will continue her training; she is a fast learner and eager to please, so she would love to practice with you and learn more cues.
