03.01.2022 Hi my name's Emily and this is Sophie. She's the bum behind the brand here at Dundies and I'm the brains , two very important roles and without one of us, ...Dundies would not exist. . . I saved miss Sophie at 6weeks from scheduled euthanasia, she was completely incontinent. It was a wild ride at the start, I tried every nappy I could from baby nappies to reusable pet nappies, importing from the US, UK and other countries but nothing worked. This poor little chicken was getting amonia burns, UTIs and all sorts of infections from the nappies I was using. She needed medications and creams just to get through, so I started making nappies for her. Well, let me tell you, some major fails did happen (including anal prolapse, PSA to never put microfiber against the skin), but after 12 months of research and development the Dundies pet nappy as it is today was born! No more nasty rashes for Sophie but boy there was alot along the way. You can read our blog, material matters for more on fabrics and nappies. . . From Sophie's suffering and my stress over more than two years caring for a dog who needs nappies 24/7 I have experienced alot, and I want to share that. There was nowhere for me to turn for support, so here at Dundies we're creating a community committed to care and education.
