25.01.2022 Well not long to go now until our night of nights is here. This year we have had a record number of qualifiers for both Dog of the Year and Puppy of the Year which I really hope will translate into entries for the event to make it bigger and better than ever before. We are grateful to our sponsors, particularly to ADVANCE who is once again our major sponsor for this event.... Top Dog Trolleys have also come on Board with sponsorship this year, thank you. This year we are offering limited premium seating in just the one large marquee at the Southern end of the event ring, this premium seating will include 6 tables that will seat up to 10 people per table. The cost will be $25 a head or $240 per table which will include a large platter and 4 bottles of wine per full table. In addition on the eastern side of the ring there will be six gazebo sites set aside which can be reserved at a cost of $25 a site, each of the sites will only have a 3m x 3m frontage but there is no restriction on depth. We are not providing meals this year however there will be a Food Van on site offering a variety of food selections including desserts, once we have finalised the menu choices we will let you know what options will be available along with prices. Please get your friends together to make it a fun night and book your table or reserve a gazebo space ring side. Booking and payment must be done through the Dogs SA office so please get in early and call the office, ask for Hayley to make your booking. 18.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL QUALIFIERS Invitations and certificates of qualifiers for Dog of the Year and Puppy of the Year are currently being emailed out with some of you having already received your email. Please be patient as we have record number of qualifiers this year so it is quite time consuming to get these invitations and certificate out to you. This is mainly due to a very short amount of time between closure of the qualifying period at the end of the Royal Sho...w and the actual event. However the committee has been working long hours to compile the list of qualifiers, complete the certificates and email you all individually and you should receive it within the next couple of days at the latest, so keep an eye on your email inbox. Please also note that the dog details on your certificate will reflect the details that were in the catalogue when the dog actually met the qualification criteria. The committee do not have access to the Dogs SA database to update the Dogs titles etc, so please note that if your dog has gained a title since qualifying this may NOT be reflected on the certificate or invitation. However, while we are not in a position to go back and amend the certificates your dogs title will appear in the event catalogue if it has been updated in EDE. Entries will be open shortly and Peter will advise in a separate post when they open. I will update you on this page later this coming week regarding event details and catering options. 16.01.2022 In addition to the sites sold on the eastern side of the ring there will be another 4 gazebo sites in ring 1 set aside which can be reserved at a cost of $25 a site, each of the sites will only have a 3m x 3m frontage but there is no restriction on depth. Available sites are 10,11,12,13. These and already purchased sites will be marked out as a 3x3 size with paint and will be reserved for you so you can erect you gazebo at your leisure, if you are going to have extra length on your spots you will need to erect that once the ground is open for gazebos to be erected. We can not save any bigger than 3x3. Call Hayley at the Dogs SA office is you would like one of these 4 sites.

Please be aware that you must register and collect your numbers during the times allocated on the program, if you have not registered by the cut off time you will not be able to compete. Draws will be conducted in the main ring at the allocated times.... First Round draw (Dog & Puppy) will be 3 dogs per round and wherever possible there will be no bye. The committee reserve the right to amend the above timetable as necessary. The Draw for the amazing TOP Dog Trolley will be drawn before the final round of DOTY. 03.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who supported the Dogs SA DOG OF THE YEAR and PUPPY OF THE YEAR event this year. The committee are very pleased with the entry and we look forward to a really great night. Everyone is welcome to attend the event and there is no charge to come to watch and cheer on your favourite dog, just bring your own chair or if you would like to sit in the main marquee to watch we are offering table seating at $15 head which will include some nibbles and a couple of drinks. Please call Hayley in the Dogs SA Office if you would like to be seated in the marquee. We are just finalising set up for the event and we will post set up times for you just as soon as we can.

03.01.2022 Well the big night is almost here, setup is almost complete and thanks to a very hard working group of people everything is starting to look great. It looks like the weather is going to be kind to us this year and I cant wait. Just a couple of final messages: Gates will open at 12 midday tomorrow.... The food van will open for service at 6pm A Bar is available in the main marquee at the end near the food van from 4pm Coffee Van will be set up near food van. There is still some seating available in the main marquee at $15 head including nibbles and wine, you can pay Hayley on the night. Ingrid is set up with beautiful back drop so take the opportunity to get some great photos done while you are all dressed up Registration for puppy starts at 3 pm, please see timetable on an earlier post.
