25.01.2022 We have had an amazing blue bird day here with lots of spectators. Racing starts tomorrow at 9 am with a drivers meeting at 8 am. Timings from today.

23.01.2022 We are fortunate that clubs like Northern Victorian Sled Dog Club Inc. and the Siberian Husky Club of Victoria Inc. are happy to provide support by the means of loaning equipment and providing ribbons. We wish to thank NVSDC for the loan of their radios and timers; and the SHCV for the first Siberian Home ribbons for our race this coming weekend.

19.01.2022 Bed time in the dog lot - Mount Baw Baw is in the Alpine National Park, so dogs are generally not allowed. Big thanks to the mountain for allowing us to bring the dogs up for this event and reserving a car park for them to help keep them safe.

Katy volunteers her time and donates her equipment and supplies, and we are very appreciative of her support.

02.01.2022 2020 Dog Sled Dash Cancelled It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that the 2020 Dog Sled Dash has been cancelled. This was not an easy decision for the committee, or the mountain to make, but was a decision based with the best interest of all of our competitors and the publics safety in mind. As you will all be well aware Victoria has once again tightened restrictions due to COVID-19, this has again created a large amount of uncertainty as to what the short ter...m future of these restrictions look like and the control measures that would need to be put in place for this event to run. On top of these requirements and the uncertainty of the timings, with all other racing events in Victoria now cancelled for the 2020 race season, we would be running a significantly higher risk of injury for our athletes and their mushers. With months of planning going into an event like this we needed to make a call with Mt Baw Baw today, and unfortunately this is the decision we have been lead to. We will return in 2021!
