25.01.2022 The Roofing Project Returns to the Northern End We were expecting, and hoping to remove a section of roof from the northern end of the building on Monday the 7th, that is next Monday, but the weather forecast is not favourable for Tuesday. We would not want to remove a section of roof knowing that we cannot get another back on before the rain comes. So, there will be NO roof coming off on Monday and Tuesday, but we would love to try for Wednesday of next week, 9/09. When the... roof comes off the roller door at the entrance to the lane will be closed for approximately half the day, possibly a little longer depending on air testing etc. Grey storage and Red storage will be closed in order to provide a safe environment, but the tower storage will be accessible via the steps at the front of the building, but only to foot traffic. There will be interruptions to the lane way for around a day a week for the next few months as we work to complete the roof project. By the time we have finished we will have removed over 19,500 m2 of roofing. We will keep you up to date as much as humanly possible, we just ask for your patience while we cross the finish line that is just so close. Of course we understand this will be an inconvenience to some and we apologise for this in advance, but there it will be well worth it. Should you have any queries or concerns, please contact the office on 63 447502 and either myself or my lovely staff will be able to talk you through the processes. Thanks Angela

20.01.2022 Roof Replacement Project update the section of roof has been removed for today, the air test has been completed and the lane way is now once again OPEN for business. Thank you for your patience.

20.01.2022 Roof replacement Progress Update and Lane Closures We trust that you've had a good start to 2021. We've had a nice break from replacing the roof, but now it's time to start the last section - the Self-Storage Tower.... Subject to the weather and sorting out a couple of small issues, I expect that the first section of roof will be started this coming Monday, 11th January. This means that we will be closing the lane for the first time this year. The lane will be closed from early morning to late afternoon and will affect all storage units in the tower section. Level 1 and 2 will be not accessible at all, and the ground floor will be accessible but via a different access point. So if your storage unit is in the E, F, G, H, J, K, L and M isles there will be no access this Monday 11/01. The reason for this actions is to provide as safe an environment as possible. There will be air testing done in various locations both during the removal of roof sections and after, until the specialists have given us approval to open these areas up again. Work will be continuing for the next couple of months as this is not a 5 minute operation, and we apologise for any inconvenience this will cause. Weather permitting, we hope to be able to remove a section of roof per week, until completed, but if the weather is favourable and all our ducks line up perfectly we may try to speed things up a little. Our main concern is the safety to our contractors and the safety to our storers, and their goods. If it means the job will be slower in order to maintain the extremely high standard of safety, then that’s how it will be. We do however, look forward to having a brand new roof. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to give us a call on 63 447502. Kind Regards Angela Martin Office manager

19.01.2022 Roof Replacement Project Update We are planning to take another section of roof off this next Monday, 9/11. To ensure the safety of all, the lane will be closed until around mid to late afternoon. The good news is that there will still be access to the rest of the lane during this time.... Pedestrian access to the lane will be available either through the Storage building (we have a back entrance!) or from the Church end. Vehicle access is via our top lane. Call into the office and we will help you find your way. So all storage areas will be OPEN for access, just the lane will be CLOSED. If you have any questions or are not sure of access, please feel free to phone on 63 44 7502. See more
