25.01.2022 What a fantastic morning we had in the library with Mrs Bromfield and Ms L! We read lots of stories, did special Macca the Alpaca colouring in pictures and watched a special episode of Bluey in the library For Friday’s session you can meet Miss Duffy at the Kinder classrooms where we have LiL at 9:00am/11:00am and walk up to the library or you can park near Grantleigh and meet us on the lawns out the front of Grantleigh at 9:15/11:15am and we will walk together as a group to the library We can’t wait to see you all!

19.01.2022 LAUNCH INTO LEARNING IS BACK FOR 2021! Sessions resume on Friday 12 February - 9am and 11am in the amazing new K-2 Precinct. Our very talented and wonderful Kindergarten teacher, Holly Duffy, will run the free program. Come along with your 0-4-year-old and meet Holly and enjoy lots of learning fun with your child! 19.01.2022 Today we did many Indigenous inspired activities for NAIDOC week. We even learnt how to count to three in Pitjantjatjara!

18.01.2022 What’s on this week at LIL - On Monday, music teacher, Ms DeCalmer, is coming to take a music lesson at 9am. The P&F have organised a Father’s Day Stall for LIL - Items are $5.00 each. There will be Father’s Day craft, as well as focusing on fine motor skills, number and letters. There are two sessions each day on Monday and Tuesday! Don’t miss it!!

18.01.2022 Our LIL session today was full of energetic and excited little people who are already counting down the days until Christmas. Lots of Christmas craft was done today!

18.01.2022 This week at LIL we will be starting Christmas craft. Session times are 9.00-10.15 and 11.00-12.15. The pre kinder session is on Tuesday at 1.15pm. Next week is our last week of LIL which is when we will be having our end of year LIL celebrations. The celebrations will be during the day rather than of an evening like previous years. More details to come.

16.01.2022 Next week is our last week of LIL for the year. To celebrate a fantastic year, we are having a party on Monday 30th November at 9am-10.30am and Tuesday 1st December 11am-12.30pm. These are the only two sessions for the week. We will be doing Christmas baking, craft and games. There will be morning tea provided for families. Please RSVP either on the sheet provided in the MPC or on this post. Please state what day you will be attending and how many family members. Thank you, we look forward to seeing you there!

13.01.2022 LAUNCH INTO LEARNING IS BACK TODAY! Sessions are running from 9:00am to 10:15am and 11:00am to 12:15pm. There are lots of fun activities to do and you will get the opportunity to explore the new K-2 precinct. Please enter via the new K-2 driveway just before the Early Learning Discovery Centre turn off, park in the car park and there will be signs out showing you how to get to the classroom. See you soon

Please meet Miss Duffy on the grass out the front of Grantleigh at 11:10 and we will walk as a group together up to the Animal Husbandry please ensure you have gumboots on and a warm jacket.

08.01.2022 NEXT WEEK IS ANIMAL HUSBANDRY WEEK Please meet Miss Duffy on the grass out the front of Grantleigh at 9:10/11:10 and we will walk as a group together up to the Animal Husbandry please ensure you have gumboots on and a warm jacket in case we have some wet and chilly weather like today. We will get to have a look and a pat of some of the animals in the Animal Husbandry, do some colouring in and we even have some special animal books to read which we picked up in our visits to the library this week. Have a lovely weekend and we can’t wait to see you all next Monday and Friday!

07.01.2022 We welcomed our lovely families to a new term of Launch into Learning this morning! Two sessions on both Mondays and Fridays every week. It's in the new K-2 Precinct Kinder classrooms - come along we'd love to see you!

07.01.2022 This week we are focusing on gross motor skills and outdoor play at LIL. Children were able to take part in lots of activities including bike riding, parachute play, painting, water, and sand play! You can join us tomorrow at either 9am or 11am for more fun!

06.01.2022 This week at Launch into Learning: A short Japanese lesson for Monday’s 9am session and Tuesday’s 11am session. This week there will be nature play. We will be outside collecting items for our nature collage. Wear warm clothes and gumboots!! See you there!

03.01.2022 Fantastic morning at LIL celebrating NAIDOC week! We did Aboriginal dot painting, made Aboriginal symbols out of play dough and read some stories. We finished off the session playing in the sun. Thank you to all of the families who came.
