23.01.2022 Paint and decorate a dolphin! The dolphins have been sent out to many of our campers and leaders this week. Please let us know if you would like to join in the fun. We would love to see your designs in the coming holiday break on this page. Please do not forget to register for the virtual camps these holidays via our website. Take care everyone.

23.01.2022 Last week we were very happy to welcome Brothers Kevin and Ete to our site, they joined Lia and Martie-Daniel in the office to work on our Paint and Decorate a Dolphin project. We have been excited to share this project with everyone by sending loads of dolphins to families and friends in our community for the last couple of weeks. To all the families and friends who received and decorated their dolphins please share a photo(s) on this page. 23.01.2022 This week we have had an amazing week with our leaders and campers on our first virtual camp. This clip was our WELCOME and could only get better after this!! Thanks to Sarah Gartland for the good times and laughs! lol

18.01.2022 Thank you! Thank you! Thank you to all the young people who joined us for our very first virtual camps. We hope you all had a great time with us as we did with you. Thank you to our amazing Don Bosco Camp Leaders who prepared, led and joined in the fun especially those who came down to Safety Beach to plan out the activities, put together clips and pictures for the last two weeks. It was amazing to connect with some of our leaders who checked in with our virtual camps, we f...elt your positive presence, love and support. The campers who participated had an amazing experience. 14.01.2022 A Letter from Camp Leaders and Staff In light of current events impacting us all the leaders and staff at Don Bosco Camp have worked hard to rethink and rework our camp experience to reach our wider Don Bosco family through an online environment. Although, we cannot meet face-to-face, we have done our best to prepare a suite of simple activities that you can all run in the comfort of your own homes. Some of these activities will be familiar to our experienced campers and many... will provide a fresh change. Our Virtual Camp will provide you with a daily: Physical Challenge: These are activities to get the heart pumping. Creative Challenge: These are activities to get your brain thinking. Family Fun Night: These are activities that help you spend time with friends and family. Dinner Theme: These can include costumes or decorations that make dinner time more exciting! Our website will also play host to our very own forum which can only be accessed by leaders and registered campers. You can use the forum to share what you and your family are up to and chat with fellow campers and leaders. Our leaders will be monitoring the forum and as well as posting riddles and small challenges everyday. Finally, do not feel pressured to follow our plans down to the letter, if you think you can make an activity more exciting by doing it differently we encourage you to do so and to share it on the forum. We hope that this new approach will help our campers both new and old to share some of the camp spirit with those around them as well as provide a break from everyday life. As always, we welcome any and all feedback to help us ensure that next time we can provide a better experience. From everyone here at Don Bosco Camp, we hope you are all happy and healthy.
