25.01.2022 WE ARE BACK... I’m very excited that will be back at training from This Monday the 23rd of November we haven’t got Zerbes as yet, but definitely working towards getting on before Xmas and after. Personally this year been tough not being around the club, which I’ve done for 20 years & just proves what a club we have.... Unfortunately I can’t play due to ability and age, but I would love nothing more for the players, coaches, committee, sponsors & supporters for our 1st crack in premier Division to have heaps of numbers & 3 strong sides & this starts by training hard but also make sure it’s very enjoyable. We know bucks and coaching staff do most pre season with balls and I’m sure before Xmas will be more about finally seeing each other having a kick and a laugh. If you have mates who play elsewhere & looking for a great club or you haven’t played at DEFC for a few years get down more good People around the club the better!!! Supporters welcome just have to stick to Government Covid rules. A SPECIAL SHUT OUT TO SOLO FOR allowing us a training ground. On behalf of the Doncaster East FC Committee I’d like to wish everyone a safe & Merry Christmas and Prosperous 2021. This has been an extraordinarily hard year for all across the board. Missing an entire footy season and the usual community interaction was particularly trying, but I think this year has shown us what our club means to us all & what a great club we have on and off field.... Please everyone cherish the time with family and friends over the Christmas break & we can’t wait to see you all at Zerbes in the new year.
