25.01.2022 School holidays are upon us and some children and some Educators are off on holidays, but we are still here and we have ventured to bumble bee park and Bunnings so far these holiday.

25.01.2022 Today at playgroup we had Holly the bee keeper come and visit with her bees and tell the children all about bees and honey. The children got to taste some honey as well.

24.01.2022 Another week has passed and we are starting to feel the cold. This week we have been practicing our fire drills. It has been an interesting reaction from the children even though we practice every 3 months. Please speak to your children about what to do in an emergency, no matter how little they are you never know how much they take in. If they tell you about a whistle its what I blow to get the childrens attention. Have a great long weekend everyone.

24.01.2022 The weather has been crisp and cool but we still managed to get out and about with our hats and coats.

23.01.2022 Its been a busy couple of weeks with some of my children starting back at school and 2 starting school for the first time and a few doing 3 year old kinder and 4 year old kinder. Good luck to all you all. We said goodbye to Lloyd who has now become a big brother to Ruben who came a few weeks early. We welcome Owen and Josie to our group.

23.01.2022 The Christmas craft is finished. The Christmas tree has been decorated for the last time, presents have been given and received and now its time to wish all my families Merry Christmas from our Family to yours. Stay safe

21.01.2022 Its been a busy 2 weeks of the school holidays with extra children and we have had a new baby start. Welcome Olivia we hope you have an awesome time in Family Day Care.

21.01.2022 Its a busy time of the year!! What with the hot weather and then the down pours that we have had, its put the construction of our new deck behind schedule but we have managed to get to the parks in our community. We have welcomed Aaron to our group and we have had a tearfully goodbye to Maddie who is off to school next year. We wish her well. We had our last playgroup for the year with a little party and have started doing Christmas craft.

20.01.2022 A beautiful day spent at the Melbourne Zoo with the children and another Educator Victoria Ward.

19.01.2022 Happy New Year to all from Little Feet Family Day Care. We are slowly getting back into gear with a few families still away on holidays and a few families waiting fo start. We will welcome some new faces in the next couple of months as new parents return to work. Some of the school aged children have been great helping out with the smaller children during the holidays.

18.01.2022 Hi everyone sorry for not posting for a while, but sometimes life gets in the way. I will make up for it now. First I would like to thank my parents on a Thursday when I had to take the day off with no notice. I was not well at all so thanks for your understanding. This is some of what we have been doing.

17.01.2022 In these trying times the children have been fantastic. Not complaining about not being allowed to go to the park and why do they have to stay home. They have been real troopers. Here is some of what we have been doing.

16.01.2022 It been a funny few weeks weather wise but we managed to still get out and about in our and about in our lovely community. The children have all had runny noses and coughs, but with the weather warming up hopefully they will all clear. Please also remember we are already 3 weeks into our sun smart policy, hats and sun screen.k

15.01.2022 Its been a very busy school holidays but it back to normal now

15.01.2022 A day out on the bus and train this week to go to Eastland shopping centre was an adventure for the children. We had a play at a pop up play centre that the children enjoyed and then they got to have a treat of hot chips and ice cream. A great day.

13.01.2022 We took public transport to get to the Melbourne Museum today and the children had lots of fun

12.01.2022 A glorious day for a visit to Collingwood childens farm. The kids enjoyed it a lot and got to hold and pat as well as feed animals. We saw guinea pigs, cows, goats, a big piggy, horses, duck, chickens (lots of them)

12.01.2022 Its been very busy here!!!

11.01.2022 We have had a very busy few weeks here. We have been busy making a special present for Dad. The children got to draw a picture for their Dad which we turned into a coaster. We also said goodbye to Claire and Annabelle this week, they will be missed. We also celebrated Milas birthday this week. She is 4. Our SunSmart policy started on the 1st September, so we now need to wear our sun hats and slip, slop, slap. Also we will have a new addition to our Family Day Care group in 3 weeks, photos below.

11.01.2022 What sort of weather is Melbourne sending us this month? But we have still managed to stick to our routine of getting out and about.

11.01.2022 The Easter Bunny came to the house today at quiet time and scattered eggs where the children put there shoes. The squeals that came when they went to get their shoes was priceless. Easter bunny left some fur behind so the children knew it was him.

08.01.2022 Welcome to 2019 I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year and for those of you that have had a holiday I hope it was relaxing. The heat has been a factor in our activities so far this year, stopping us from going out and about in the community and visiting the park. Here is some of what we have been up to.

08.01.2022 Lots of Christmas activities happening at Little Feet Family Day Care over the last couple of weeks. We have been out and about when the weather has lets us and inside when its to hot to go outside. We have said goodbye to Maddie who is going off to school next year and also we will be saying goodbye to Callum this week as he goes off to school as well. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you parents for allowing me to look after your children and to watch them grow and develop into beautiful little individuals its been a pleasure. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and please stay safe and a great New Year to everyone.

08.01.2022 Busy busy busy!!! A few children down with sniffles and colds and a couple away on holidays I hope they had fun!!

08.01.2022 We are certainly getting into a routine with the new children and new kinder pick ups. With the warm weather we have still managed to get out and about.

05.01.2022 We have been busy again in the last few weeks and our beautiful spring weather has dictated what we have done - too hot one day, too wet the next. It great to see all my children growing and blossoming.

04.01.2022 Even though it has been cold and a bit wet we have managed to still venture out and about in the community, go to playgroup and library, although a bit more sunshine and a little less wind would be nice. Also a reminder that as of the 1st September 2018 our sun smart policy comes into affect, so we will need sun hats. I use the SunSmart App to keep tracker of when the children need sun cream and hats.

04.01.2022 Another busy week!!!

03.01.2022 A busy January with 3 of my children preparing to head off to school and a couple of new faces joining our group this year. I will certainly miss my big girls but wish them well for the next stage of their life. A couple of them will be back in school holidays so I can check out how they are going. With the hot and wet weather we havent been able to get out and about as much as we would like. We have been cooking up a storm, making bread, muffins and chocolate crackles.

03.01.2022 Its been a busy time with children starting school and kinder and new routines to learn. It has been great watching the children grow and become more independent and confident in themselves. I was reminded this week how quickly children grow as one of the children I used to look after turned 18. It makes you realise how precious these earlier years are. Enjoy your children

02.01.2022 Today we learnt a bit about Anzac Day. We made some poppies that the children will put on their letter boxes at home. We then made Anzac biscuits. Some to eat and some to take home. We then read 2 stories about Anzac.
