18.01.2022 Garden Tomatoes Just picked these tomatoes this morning and set up a still life with this gorgeous small vase. The colours just sing together. Soft Pastels on Pastelmat 24 x 39 cm. A fun day with blues and reds.

18.01.2022 Golden Memories Farm shed at Linville Qld Soft Pastel on Pastelmat 18 x 24 cm This painting was inspired by a day trip to Linville pub for lunch then following the 34 Brisbane River crossings into the country. Photo taken from car near Linville. It was an overcast day but when the sun did come out from behind the clouds, the grasses were golden.

10.01.2022 Day One of 7 paintings in 7 days Red rock NSW Australia one of my favourite spots. The little township takes you back to the 60/70's. Quaint little seaside cottages and a big long board walk. This is the path to the beach. Thanks to Stephie Clark for the nomination. I now would like to ask Louise Primeau to show 7 of her best.

04.01.2022 Sunday in the studio finishing of this soft pastel of Gladioli. I decided to include the surrounding garden and the trellis then I added some soft purple to represent a Wisteria to complement the orange peach tones. This was a pleasure to paint on Pastelmat 30 x 40 cm. Inspiration photo thanks to Leslie Howe. Also inspired to paint the Gladioli after watching a Patreon lesson from Stephie Clark.
