21.01.2022 Anybody getting in the groove of finding their mojo and getting back into things that make you feel good? I have started walking a couple of times a week with my friend Jo... weve been doing 5ks - yep, pretty proud of myself for putting myself and my health first again...1 Whats really interesting is that we used to play a bit of netball together but our history is that we used to work on a remote FIFO mine site together and we actually used to run home nearly eve...ry day from work!!! Our run path was up the airstrip road, along the airstrip, over and through the great sandy desert dunes, up and down a few hills and into the back of the camp site... OMG, we were quite fit then!! So its time to restart and focus and get back on my journey of health and fitness!! 11.01.2022 Hi everyone Welcome to the start of another beautiful week. Firstly I would like to send my thoughts and prayers for all of you effected by Covid, the measures Victoria have now are tough, I hope you are all coping ok? A few tips to those on my program finding it hard to source fresh food... Use frozen veg, buy a bbq chicken from a fast food outlet (No skin and NO CHIPS) When you can source fresh veg, blanche and freeze into zip lock bags (make sure veg is dry) Ring you...r local butcher and see if you can place an order for your meat if you cant source from Coles/Woolies, plus it will help them to stay afloat. If anyone has any other tips to help please place in comments. These are definitely trying times! Modere are an essential business so it will be delivery as normal for our supplements. 10.01.2022 Just not today .. summertime cold water rinse is the best but today my hair cuticles are not going to be happy as it’s hot hot hot water for me I find this is a little hard at times as l am a hot shower kinda girl... so much so that my skin is usually red after l get out and my hair does have a bit of frizz today I changed my shampoo and conditioner and it’s amazing... l used to have to wash my hair daily... now 2 maybe 3 times a week!!! Never believed people until l ...actually tried these products myself!! I am a skeptic on a lot of this kind of stuff but if you ask me about my experience with products I am happy to share

09.01.2022 Do you skip meals? I used to be terrible for it. Here are some very interesting things that happen when you skip meals!!!... #1 Slows Metabolism Your metabolism will slow way down if you dont eat. Your body will think it needs to go into starvation mode, preserving every calorie it can until the next supply of food arrives. So instead of burning off calories, it hangs onto them. Not really helpful when you are trying to lose weight. In fact, you could even end up gaining weight if you continue the pattern of skipping meals. Your body will continue to hold onto the calories from the food you do eat, because you are not supplying a regular stream of food. #2 Less Energy When your metabolism slows down, all of your bodys functions slow down with it. That means you will have less energy and feel sluggish and tired. Hmmmnot really a good thing if you planned to exercise. (And if youre trying to lose weight, hopefully you do have plans to exercise.) You cannot exercise efficiently when you arent eating enough. Most likely you will skip your workout, which means even less calories burned. This skipping meals thing should be starting to sound pretty silly right about now. #3 Overeating Another likely outcome of skipping meals is overeating or bingeing. When you dont eat you get hungry, and when you do finally eat, you will most likely eat too much. Chances are, you will also go for fattening junk food. You can even end up eating more calories than you would have if you had just eaten smaller healthy meals throughout the day. You are better off eating regularly throughout the day to keep your hunger in check. #4 Hangry Not eating can lead to severe headaches and lightheadedness due to a decrease in blood sugar. This is definitely not a good thing if you have a busy day ahead of you (and who doesnt?). Trying to work at the office or take care of your kids with a pounding headache is not a good idea. You will be cranky, less productive, and may snap at other people, including your loved ones. This is unfair to them, and no good for you. #5 Missing Nutrients When you dont eat enough throughout the day, you will probably end up lacking in key nutrients. Because you are taking in less calories, you may become deficient in calcium, good fats, iron, protein, and other vitamins and minerals. This can lead to many other health problems that you dont want to deal with. #6 Disordered Eating Skipping meals here and there may not seem like a bad idea to you, but it can lead to disordered eating patterns. You may train your brain and your body to think that its okay to do. The thought of eating a meal can become enough to cause you anxiety and serious self-esteem issues. These patterns can come on fast and are very hard to break once you are in the middle of it. Dont set yourself up for this.
08.01.2022 What has been a major change in your life??? 3 years ago I came across a program that would change my life. I took a huge step outside of my comfort zone and changed many factors to my everyday living. I changed my choice of liquids, my choice of foods, my choice of lifestyle.
