23.01.2022 This years singles championship was a playoff between Murray Walker and Peter Clifford. It was close fought game with Murray taking out the championship. The plate was won by Mitch Walker from Gordon Clifford. A great Father & Son Win. Well done to you both.

22.01.2022 Wildflower Weekend at the club. Apart from the weather not being the greatest yesterday the golfers appeared to have a great time. The course is in great condition for them. Thanks to all the volunteers who have contributed to make this event a great success.

20.01.2022 Unfortuately the AFL has banned all players from doing any promotioal work for the next 6 weeks so the show at the Country Club has been cancelled. All tickets sold will be refunded from where you purchased them. This affects all the shows that were to be held around the South West not just the Country Club. We hope to hold this event again when things have settled over the virus. We were looking forward to hosting this event and we are also extremely disappointed. Thanks for you understanding.

19.01.2022 Donnybrook Country Club hosted the Golf WA Rural Bronze sponsored by Aglime over the weekend. Friday 24 saw 80 ladies play a Canadian Foursomes event with Leanne Ettridge (Donnybrook) and Lyan Shepherd (Augusta) coming up winners. Saturday and Sunday there were 102 ladies from 32 clubs across the state competing for the prized Lady Court Cup. The Wandering girls had a very successful weekend with Maria Densham and Di Warburton winning the Gladys Hawks Shield and Di Warburton winning overall. Our very own Jess Oakley finished 6th overall and won the Grass Greens section. The theme for the weekend was Apples and there were some very interesting creations seen at the dinner on Saturday night. Thank you all for coming and enjoying our beautiful golf course in Donnybrook, we loved having you!!

04.01.2022 Commencing Friday 22nd May The Donnybrook Country Club is going to reopen on Friday nights for meals. In accordance with the Covid -19 regulations members and their guests can purchase liquor ancillary to a meal. You can purchase liquor prior during and after a meal but you must purchase a meal. Chris will commence meals at 5.30pm. If there is oversupply time limits may be imposed but this is not envisaged at this point. We would love to see members back in the clubhouse. Any...one with cold like, Flu symptoms or feeling unwell are advised not to enter the club please. Members and their guests must sign in the register at the front door when they arrive. Bookings will get priority as there is only provision for 20 people to be seated at any one time. This does not include takeaways which will also be available. The menu will be as usual. 04.01.2022 Donnybrook Country Club is seeking a casual worker to assist behind the bar. We need an enthusiastic, responsible person holding an RSA to cover sick and annual leave and be available for when we hold functions. No set days or times just ad hoc.
