21.01.2022 The board and members of Don River Railway are saddened by the passing of our President, Paul Templar. Paul was one of our many unsung heroes at the railway and will be remembered as a treasured contributor to our society. In respect, our last train service today (Sunday) will be at 1:30pm and we will not be running any public services tomorrow (Monday). Thanks for your understanding, #DRR

15.01.2022 Join us for a relaxing evening of sun, entertainment and drinks to celebrate the official opening of 2 Tracks Bar & Function Centre this Friday evening! All are welcome, plenty of hay bales and tables spread around the outdoor area and inside the function centre. Entertainment all evening from Zac Weeks followed by Tony Leonard & Josh Tome.... Gold coin donation upon entry, all funds raised going to the volunteer efforts at Don River Railway.

13.01.2022 Thanks to Erin and ABC Australia for sharing our want of enticing more people to Tasmania and experiencing what we have to offer at #DRR. Our little railway has so much potential and to see it all come to fruition we need the help and support of our governments, otherwise we will run out of steam.

08.01.2022 Our steam locomotive M4 is having her boiler inspected at the moment. We are taking the time to give her some love as well. We've covered her in some primer ready for a fresh coat of green.
