24.01.2022 While we can't do our thing, we find strength in beauty around us. Connectedness and a sense of belonging are good for the soul, for our health and wellbeing. A...nd it's good for our local economy, too - and that's critical for small town survival. A connected community looks after each other, makes others want to become part of it, and attracts visitors. A really good way to be connected is to be creative together. To use art as a way to come together, to celebrate life, to develop your own community's story, and to create a sense of belonging for all of us. We do that a lot here in Dookie, and it's what makes our community punch well above its weight. Be proud of where you live. Find out what defines your community and what makes you strong. Celebrate it, bring it out in the open, and create more of that magic.
