25.01.2022 Magic Millions Day on Saturday. If you want to know what it takes to win the 2yo race, or even make the field, have a look at http://dosageprofile.com/magic-millions-2yo-2020

24.01.2022 One of the big days of Sydney racing on Saturday with plenty of top quality runners. A tough day for punters I think, but you might get a bit of a leg up if you have a look at our assessment of a few of the main races.

22.01.2022 We have a look at the Blue Diamond Previews for both the colts and fillies this week. We also have a video of the wonderful Sepoy winning the Blue Diamond in a stellar season that saw him win the Preview and Prelude, and then go on to win the Golden Slipper. There are a couple of roughies to be included in the multiples, so we could have a big collect.

22.01.2022 An early look at the VRC Derby this Saturday. http://dosageprofile.com/vrc-derby-2018

21.01.2022 Winter in Queensland has moved to the country cups up north, and we have moved south to Melbourne for the running of the Taj Rossi Final for 2yo's over 1600m. Always interesting to see the youngsters run over a mile, and this race will see a few wanting by the end.

20.01.2022 Caulfield Cup is here. Have a look at our tips at http://dosageprofile.com/caulfield-cup-2020

20.01.2022 The Expressway on Saturday. Have a look here

18.01.2022 Sandown Guineas and Zipping Classic Day on Saturday to close out the Spring in Melbourne. For an early tip

18.01.2022 I do hope that some people do follow our tips on the website. This is what we put up on Thursday about today's Winx Stakes.

15.01.2022 How can dosageprofile.com help you with your selections? We all know what yearling sales are like. Lots of hype, and lots of new season stallions, but how do you navigate through the maze? A great way is to talk to some trainers you can trust, and see if you can tag along with them as they assess the youngsters. It is a great way to learn, and a good way to get into a share on the ground floor. This is not an option for everyone, and you may even be left looking through t...he glossy ads of the syndicators after the sale. Here at dosageprofile.com, we have had plenty of experience in assessing yearlings on pedigree alone. So before you invest in a yearling, talk to us about an assessment of the chances of that youngster winning a race or two. It is a simple cost effective analysis that can help steer you into a sound investment with the type of racehorse that you are looking for. Call Ross on 0412712181 At my site http://dosageprofile.com/ 2019-yearling-sales is a brief assessment of Lot 1 at Magic Millions 2018. I can go into a lot more detail if you would like but I chose this lot simply because it was Lot 1, and I could not influence the price by what I wrote. Given the buyer, it is also unlikely that the filly will be syndicated, so again I think the impact of my assessment will be limited as I have no intention of attempting to influence any markets. Lot 1 sold for $170,000 and I am of the opinion that the filly will make a reasonable broodmare, but on the track, the best that can be hoped for is a win in the city. Even that I would consider to probably be wishful thinking. Before you purchase your next yearling, give me a call or email. She is now racing as Luana so check her record and see if I was accurate. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please call me or email me before you purchase. Sadly many people get upset if my opinions do not match their own optimism.

14.01.2022 A big day of racing on Saturday with Group 1 races in both Sydney and Melbourne. If you want another way of looking at the horses that are competing, and maybe get a winner or two, visit our website

13.01.2022 History in the making with Winx chasing her 4th Cox Plate. With a small field, I have given a rundown on the chances of all runners http://dosageprofile.com/cox-plate-2018

10.01.2022 Melbourne Cup time. If you are looking for a tip, we hope to continue our good form.

10.01.2022 I hope that everyone realises that I usually post a piece every week on the major races around Australia. This weekend is Caulfield Cup day and my views are already on-line for those intending on doing the form for Saturday. If you haven't looked at my page before, here are some of the tips that you missed out on Doomben 10000 What do we make of this years' race? Past history may be misleading with the change in distance, but to date it hasn't made too much difference so wi...ll continue to use it as a guide. As we would expect, the past winners have often shown a large speed bias, with the majority of recent winners having a dosage index between 4.40 and 4.85. This year it is The Bostonian that sits nicely within that range so he must be considered a strong chance. Havasay is also within this range but his profile looks less suited than the others. Next we have a group of winners in the 2.70 to 3.00 range which sees Easy Eddie come in with his chance. We have also seen a winner with a dosage of 2.11 which means that the unlucky Osborne Bulls looks well suited. I am confident that the winner will come from these three. RESULT - The Bostonian won at $41 from Osborne Bull

09.01.2022 An important announcement for thoroughbred enthusiasts: You will be pleased to know that www.pedigreequery.com has now added all of the ANZ chefs-de-race to their dosage calculator. If you search for a pedigree there you will get an updated and accurate picture of the dosage profile.

06.01.2022 If you are looking at buying a yearling, have a look at what we can offer. This was an assessment from the 2018 sale, so the filly well and truly has established form, and pretty much performs as we suspected. Was she worth the price? That is up to the buyers, but don't forget that she has value as a broodmare. Do you think you may be a step ahead if you knew how a yearling was going to perform before you bid?

05.01.2022 Saturday is the Group 2 Villiers in Sydney. Not a race that I all that excited about, but here are a couple of thoughts if you are interested. http://dosageprofile.com/villiers-stakes

05.01.2022 With the yearling sale season just about upon us, it is time to start trolling through the catalogues for those of you looking at buying at least part of a racehorse. There can be many things that you want from a racehorse. One goal is to win a race in your local area. Others want to win a stakes race. Some will be looking at buying a horse that will be a stallion prospect, while others are looking for a filly who can start as a foundation mare for a lifelong breeding venture.... Whatever you are looking for, the pedigree will tell you plenty as long as you know what it is you are looking for. I offer a service that will tell you just what you can expect in terms of racing performance for a yearling. After all, what is the purpose of buying a horse when you only have some vague recommendations like "a good walker" and similar buzz words. If you are interested, I will be doing some of these assessments for free for the first in. Please though, only ask about horses before you bid. I have found that a great way to upset people is to tell them the truth about their horse. Get in touch through the website on www.dosageprofile.com See more

04.01.2022 Saturday is the first of the 2yo Group 1 races for the season in the Blue Diamond Stakes. The race began in only 1971 but was to almost immediately make a big impression. In only its second year, the race was won by John's Hope who went on the win the Golden Slipper. SInce then Manikato, Bounding Away, Courtza and Sepoy have won the Blue Diamond/Golden Slipper Double. If you want to have a new look at the race, have a look at our site.

02.01.2022 We might see a new star arrive in the Aurie's Star Handicap tomorrow.

02.01.2022 Day two of the Sydney Autumn carnival and a big day of racing. It looks one of the toughest days that I have seen for a long time, so good luck if you are having a wager. If you want a different way of looking at the horses, please visit us at http://dosageprofile.com/ for an assessment of a couple of the main races.

01.01.2022 The CF Orr Stakes was first run in 1925 over a mile when won by The Night Patrol who had won the Cox Plate the season before. At stud he was perhaps best known as the grand sire of the top galloper Comic Court. Saturday sees this year's event and we have our assessment up already. Good luck
