18.01.2022 Just a quick post to thank you all. After being closed for four weeks we didn’t know what to expect when we reopened our doors. Feeling privilege to have such wonderful customers, it’s so good to see you all again. What a surprised to get back to normal so quickly. 15.01.2022 So Covid-19 has changed our lives. We social distance , sanatize and hand wash frequently, have hand sanitiser for customers and floor markers to encourage social distancing as well as a separation screen at the till. Today we placed a new sign out the front. Our shop is very small limiting the number of people we can have inside at any one time. Four people inside is our covid limit. So When it is a busy times we ask you to place your order and pay then make your way outs...ide to wait , will bring your order to you. Thankyou for your assistance to keep us all safe ! See more

15.01.2022 When we turned 40 we said there would be exciting news later in the year well here it is.. Over the last 12 months we have been negotiating the sale of our bakery. It has been a long drawn out event and Covid-19 put a stop to it for months. We have finally agreed a sale and the new owners will be taking over at 3pm Friday 2nd October 2020. Aaron and Jo from Lake Village Bakery are young and energetic and have lots of great ideas to grow the business. In this curre...nt climate to blend two successful businesses and enlarge market share is the best way to stabilise and grow. Your bakery supply is in safe hands. Our current staff are being retained and all recipes etc are being handed with the sale. We are excited to have found a buyer who is as passionate as we are about our products and customers, we believe you are in good hands and we ask one thing, please give Jo and Aaron a chance. Please accept our sincere gratitude for allowing us to serve you over the years, we have loved the last 40 years and if were being honest, we will miss the business and customers terribly. But all good things must come to an end, retirement beckons as does a good rest. We wish you nothing but good health and happiness and hope to catch up with you from time to time once Covid-19 is a thing of the past. 08.01.2022 Thanks to everyone’s support today. You guys are tops. Our lovely salad bar decided it needed a couple of days holiday. Electrician has been working feverishly at procure a new heart for her. Fingers crossed she will be back Wednesday. In the mean time we are offering our fresh made sandwiches and rolls as premade. They are sharing the cake fridge. The Sandwiches and rolls are being made up throughout the day so nice and fresh.

04.01.2022 40 years ago , when we were very young , and just married, we made the decision to open our bakery. 19th May 2020 will be our 40th anniversery. Pre COVID-19 we had huge ideas to celebrate!!!!!!!! Now we are just happy to be all OK and back to work. We will celebrate later in the year once we can safely gather again. Keep an eye on our page we will be having some in store promotions leading up to the 19th. ... 03.01.2022 Thankyou Wagga Wagga what a great first day back. It’s so lovely to get back to work and see all your happy faces again. Laura and Sami are about to open the doors on day two post pandemic lockdown . Who else is enjoying a little more freedom. Just remember to stay safe, wash those hands ,keep your distance and smile.

02.01.2022 It’s beginning to feel like ‘normal’ here. We are seeing customers coming back to work , businesses making that first step to ‘open back up’ and everyone taking up the chalanges of social distancing and safe hygiene practices. It’s so nice to see all your smiling faces and to get reacquainted again. We have decided to keep with our new opening and closing times for the moment as it seems a better fit with us and our customers. Opening at 9am works well with the difficultie...s customers are having accessing Mortimer Place before then with traffic congestion and closing at 2pm means we can be fully opened till then and do our closedown after the doors are closed. Both these measures mean we are all happier and we can see a lot of customers throuout the day without stress. So keep it up , we’re all in this together and we are all doing great. See more
