22.01.2022 Opening back up tomorrow at 8am! Boy we’ve missed ya, it’s been.. 129 days. We’ve got a few new flavs, but more importantly I think you’ll love our new dough. It’s a long and slow 3 day process, resulting in a dough with a decent chew & great spring. We’re hoping you’ll be as happy as we are with them #doughboys

22.01.2022 Strawberries & Cream is part of our delivery box til Sunday. Thick strawb jam, pastry creme w/ a hint of caramel, vanilla & fresh cut strawbs. We‘ll be waiting to see how the city feels post lockdown, and hopefully re opening Monday. Til then delivery boxes are on the daily

17.01.2022 So... back we go, shop is closing for the coming week. (Including tomorrow, Saturday) We have added home deliveries on the website, starting Sunday (V Day). We’re doing special boxes of five, with this delicious Strawberries & Cream involved. 13.01.2022 Last lot of doughies about to have their final proof tonight! Tomorrow is our last for the year, we will take a break and be back on the 11th Jan. It’s been so nice to see some friends & familiar faces back in the shop over the past few months. Thanks so much for taking time to drop past, it’s very rewarding & humbling that we have such lovely & loyal customers. We’re looking forward to switching off and then re opening in 2021, hopefully without too many hitches

08.01.2022 We are looking for people to be part of the post-covid rebuild at Doughboys Doughnuts. Successful applicants will work as part of a close-knit team, where attention to detail, a proactive attitude, good hospitality skills, and having a laugh are highly valued. As well you must have an appetite to grow within yourself and be a part of an expanding Doughboys. Through the Covid period we have had a chance to closely reflect on what we are about and what we are aiming to achieve.... We pared back our dough process, re-imagined what a doughnut looks, tastes and feels like. There was way more dough waste than I’m willing to share No longer are we doing midnight shifts. We now make our dough two days in advance where it is given time to ferment, build structure & flavour.
