25.01.2022 There are many memories attached to this humble bread, namely, the Pandesal. My mum use to spend the majority of the day preparing the dough, letting it rise and baking the rolls just in time for afternoon merienda. I also remember being at the back of my aunty's motorcycle, just a peak before sunrise, riding to the markets to buy fresh fruit and a few pandesal rolls at the local bakers for breakfast....
