24.01.2022 "The International Wave of Light" is an annual event held on October 15th, International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. We invite all bereaved families and supporters to light a candle at 7pm local time for one hour in honour of their baby or child. The "wave of light" created will then travel around the world as each timezone reaches 7 pm. 10.01.2022 As most of you are aware, I'm a Regional Coordinator for Angel Gowns Australia Inc. and I'm incredibly honoured to have this role. We are an entirely volunteer-run organisation, and while we have great support from our sponsors, we do rely on financial donations to ensure our organisation can keep offering such high quality services to bereaved families. Fundraising this year has been difficult as you can imagine, with most of our displays not being able to go ahead. In respo...nse to this, some creative people have put together this beautiful 2021 calendar, showcasing just some of the wonderful work our talented seamstresses come up with, day after day. 04.01.2022 As a mum who struggled extensively with breastfeeding, with no apparent reason after seeing professional after professional, the misinformation around oral restrictions is something I'm very passionate about. I wish more professionals were educated on these subjects. I wish they understood the follow on effects that can occur. Maybe then we wouldn't have so many mums tearing their hair out and feeling awful about 'failing' something as biologically 'simple' as breastfeeding. If you suspect a tie, or if you're struggling with feeding, or you just want to educate yourself, please keep reaching out until you find the information you're looking for.
