25.01.2022 Brand new: We have been waiting and watching for a long time, but all things happen in their own time. It is always so exciting to see a new life enter the world and to watch as natural instinct kicks in. Mum and baby are doing really well but please save your inquiries as this foal is not for sale.

19.01.2022 We carefully select our breeders for mothering as well as conformation and it shows. These mums let the foals interact with us but are never far away.

16.01.2022 Our newest foal, little Nova is testing out her legs having a play. She isn't quite stable yet.

16.01.2022 Tiny Morris, born in the heat of Summer has a short very soft coat which he loves to rub against you. This cheeky boy is a delight.

13.01.2022 The foals form very tight bonds and are very social, hence it is important that they have friends when they go to their new homes.

11.01.2022 Downunder donkeys are all trained and will walk onto a float happily. We have had many professional float drivers comment on how well they load and travel. They do however require ongoing training and practice at these tasks as they can become easily frightened if they don't having ongoing exposure.

11.01.2022 Its really hard to be elegant when you have a cheeky foal lifting your skirt! Lester just loves to be with you, walking away or saying goodbye isn't something he takes lightly.

11.01.2022 Three young donkeys ready to go to their forever homes are enjoying having some pats on a sunny Autumn afternoon. Our donkeys have lots of exposure to children and other animals so make great family pets.

09.01.2022 Even Morris needs protection from these hot days. Please check that your donkeys have lots of fresh water and that the water doesn't actually get hot during these really severe days. Having stables, sheds or other shelter for them is also important, obviously hats are not practical.

09.01.2022 This is what our family portraits look like these days, grandfather, granddaughter, farm dog and foal. All of the donkeys love to photo bomb so its easier to include them, and it is far cuter too.

07.01.2022 All of our foals are handled from birth and it shows in their quiet nature. Lazarus loves a cuddle but I'm sure he will soon get too big for this.

06.01.2022 Remember to check your Donkeys feet if you are having lots of rain. If the feet are wet a lot of the time, your donkeys may get white line disease or other feet problems.

06.01.2022 Moving the donkeys isn't really a hard task, basically we just need to open the gate and they all happily wander through. What a lovely mixture of colours we have now.

05.01.2022 This is Jezabelle just having a little cuddle before going to her new home. All of Downunder donkeys are very fond of their caretakers, and some even play with the dog! Exposure to children is also something they all experience and enjoy.
