24.01.2022 Carpentry Rough-in completed on another bathroom project for a Bayside client. We complete the tasks differently to a lot of other carpenters, but that is due to the updated industry knowledge and practices. 01.01.2022 While undertaking a renovation of a unit in Malvern East, one of the tasks was to remove the double skin brick wall between the dining room and living room. Once undertaking the hard demolition, we found a few factors that we not accounted for, thus emailing the Structural Engineer for further information. The Engineer's reply contained 'the below and attached photos are far beyond what we would normally be provided by a builder with queries, they make assessing the existi...ng conditions /proposals much easier.' I believe that it is every tradespersons's duty to look out for the following trade or anyone else who is working on the project. By taking specific photos and marking up images and drawings, it meant that the down time was reduced, no misunderstanding via the email and it is clear what is onsite VS what my proposal for the further works included. #dpvconstruction #builder #carpentry #carpenter #renovation #unitreno #engineer
