25.01.2022 How is Chinese Medicine like physics? And how can we apply Classical Chinese Medicine to our everyday lives to help us cope with the stressors of our modern day lifetstyle? Everything in life is a choice!... And if you so choose to know the answers to these questions, listen to my podcast with Paul Glezer of My Wellness Wishlist. Ep. 27 via the link below. Let me know what you think :)

20.01.2022 You've just got to love ginger! One of my favorite Chinese herbs. Called "Sheng Jiang", ginger is great for amping up your circulation, digestion, and it helps with period pain and dispelling the cold that corelates with spleen yang deficiency. Do you lack energy? Have puffy and heavy legs and arms or eyes and face? Get bloating after eating? Have sluggish bowel movements or loose stool? Get cold hands and feet? ... Add some ginger to your life and if you're interested in Chinese Medicine you can get in touch with me and we can discuss how acupuncture and Chinese Hebal Medicine could help you :)

17.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone! If youre feeling bloated after your family feasts, make a cuppa with fennel seeds, peppermint, ginger and chamomile :) From a Chinese medicine perspective, hot summer days like these can damage your qi and body fluids, effecting the functions of your spleen and stomach (in charge of digestion!) so be sure to keep hydrated and try reach for the warmer drinks over iced.... <3 Elise

10.01.2022 The pain and infertility of fallopian tube obstruction can be caused by an underlying infection or endometriosis. A recent clinical study showed that a treatment plan consisting of acupuncture and herbal medicine has a 90%* effectiveness rate on clearing obstructions and increasing conception rates. If you or someone you know is having problems falling pregnant seek advice and make sure you eliminate the possibility of fallopian tube obstruction. Chinese Medicine can be a gre...at non-invasive alternative to surgical procedures for bringing your reproductive system back into balance. *See first comment for an abstract of the study

03.01.2022 Do you get migraines? Give acupuncture a go! The authors of this study reviewed twenty-two published research papers investigating the use of acupuncture in preventing migraines. All of the studies were randomized trials and followed the subjects after treatment. Altogether the research measured the outcome of 4419 participants! "The studies suggest that acupuncture is at least as effective as, or possibly more effective than, prophylactic drug treatment, and has fewer advers...e effects." "There is consistent evidence that acupuncture provides additional benefit to treatment of acute migraine attacks."
