17.01.2022 Introducing Dr Hamish Gray, Orthopaedic Surgeon who is now available for consultation at the Lake Kawana Specialist Centre on the Sunshine Coast. Dr Hamish Gray is an experienced & trusted orthopaedic surgeon with a focus on lower limb surgery including arthroplasty (joint replacement), arthroscopy, joint reconstruction and revision surgery. This focus includes surgery on the hip, knee and ankle joints. Dr Gray graduated from Otago University (New Zealand) in 2000. He comp...leted his general orthopaedic training in Queensland in 2010. He then furthered his expertise in lower limb by doing a number of fellowships: Computer Navigated Arthroplasty Fellowship in Brisbane, 2010 Complex Arthroplasty Fellowship including revision, rheumatoid arthritis, developmental dysplasia & Lower limb reconstruction at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, 2011 Paediatric Orthopaedics, Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne, 2012 He returned to Queensland in 2012 and has worked for Queensland Health holding Director, Deputy Director, and Acting Director Roles. He has worked on the Sunshine Coast since 2014. He remains committed to serve both public and private patients. Dr Hamish Gray holds an academic appointment as the Clinical Lead for Orthopaedics at Griffiths University teaching our local medical students. Dr Gray continues teaching and mentoring future orthopaedic surgeons. See more
