24.01.2022 Dragon Dreaming Festival community, we are inspired by recent political events to bring you the evolution of your festival in 2019. We will be investing in stepping up your experience and the ecological footprint of the festival by doing a full environmental audit of how we operate and bringing us beyond best practice. We will be aiming to not only leave no trace from a waste perspective, but to focus on leaving a trace that we will create a legacy on the festival site and beyond forever. We will be creating ecosystems through a systematic revegetation project on the site. Let’s grow the future we want for our country together!

20.01.2022 Dear dreamers, After 10 years of successive amazing festivals with you, and the absence of this years festival, we have been reflecting and wanted to ask you guys to also reflect with us and share below some of your favourite memories (photos or written) of how our unique community has touched you and your friends. Our committee (we are a not-for-profit) has been working tirelessly all year to not only deliver all the necessary documentation for all our approvals for 2020 D...ragon dreaming (for the Wee Jasper Lake site), but we are dreaming how the festival can become a more potent space for change in a world that needs it. What do you think we can do to make the festival an even more potent space for change, artistic expression, community, celebration. So as we take a moment to dream of a greater Dragon Dreaming at the start of our second decade of operation in 2020, we welcome you to take a moment this week in the absence of the event in 2019 to do the same and share with us your visions. We also welcome any remaining 2019 ticket holders that wish to donate their 2019 ticket funds (part or full) to the ongoing costs of keeping the 2020 event possible to request a donation or your refunds will be processed shortly. Our previously brother and sister organisations are well into planting the seeds of some big news that we will share with you soon about our bright future together. 08.01.2022 All types of music venues need protection, especially for new ones to open. A hotel about to be built in Garema Place, Canberra, will make this impossible in the city. As you know, Canberra is the birthplace of Dragon, so this hits home directly. MusicACT are pushing ACT to be event-friendly for all scales if venue, including festivals.
