14.01.2022 What a day this was when we celebrated 100 years of Moorcroft and re enacted the famous march of staff;-))) The Official Moorcroft Web Site reflects on that move to his own factory: William marched his workforce across Cobridge Park to a new factory in Sandbach Road where Moorcroft pottery is still made today. The money came from Liberty, the famous London store and Liberty continued to control Moorcroft until 1962. Accolades, the Queen, and the Son Continues Moorcroft won accolades for his pottery work early on. Among those awards was a gold medal at the St. Louis International Exhibition in 1904. After garnering more praise and furthering his own business, Moorcroft was appointed potter to Her Majesty The Queen in 1928.

The name means "Friend" in Japanese and if you love pandas, look out for his friend YUMI, who is similar, but smaller and these would make an ideal pair together.... This handsome panda has a very cuddly coat of black and white textured fur, made of wool, which is very unusual. 04.01.2022 Well, what a great day we had yesterday the 8th of November with all of our collectors. Malar pulled out all the stops to get rare pieces of Moorcroft to entice our customers and they weren’t disappointed. Many of the pieces were trials and as yet released designs, so there was a lot of interest in these amazing pieces despite the gloomy times. Malar and Kim spent days resetting all of the cabinets to the best effect and they looked spectacular. Plus our special collections had all been reset also.

03.01.2022 Into stock today came Wilfy! 19" (48cm) The owner of Charlie Bears is Charlotte Morris, known as Charlie and WILFY is the nickname of her husband William, who loves big "bear" bears and his favourite ones are known as WILFYS BIG BOYS. Therefore it was only fitting that WILFY had to be one of those, so he is a good sized bear and has lots of bear characteristics, such as the bigger, pronounced muzzle. His soft and cuddly coat is made up from a mix of gingery browns and creams,... with lots of dark tipping. His little ears are hidden amongst the fur and he has "who me?" eyes, which suit his character perfectly..... Will is always getting into trouble for letting out secrets and so this innocent expression can be misleading! The big paw pads are sculpted and stitched and have some airbrushing for extra definition and he wears a necklace with a heart pendant. Will has had other bears named after him in the past, which have all been very popular, so this stunning bear is sure to be in demand as well, so order quickly if you dont want to be disappointed!
