03.01.2022 Sharing a bit of magic with you. What a week it has been. I had the privilege of adjudicating a unique online public speaking competition initiated and facilitated by the fabulous Students and supportive staff at Scotch College. The HIGH standard of content and delivery was absolutely brilliant! The smart writers and presenter were unbelievably skilled at presenting a speech and online! The two impromptu speakers from Scotch and Lauriston were so articulate I had to ask th...em if they had prepared the speech.. which they couldnt have as they were only given the topic minutes before they were due to present! I am in awe of the M.C from Scotch college who introduced the speakers and filled the silentgaps whilst I was writing the reports... Staying connected is certainly important now and I was so privileged to play a role in this innovative and well executed competition. A testimony to not giving up! If you want something to happen - IT CAN!
