24.01.2022 4 months postop from a breast augmentation with 650cc implants placed via a dual plane technique This lovely patient is a good example of how variable an implant size can look on different patients. While a 650cc implant will look too large for most patients, it looks really natural on her. She is quite tall at almost 6’ and tall patients tend to have an upper body frame that can accommodate implants in the 500cc and up range and still look great. Bringing a nice fitted top to the consultation to put over the implant sizers/bra can really help show a patient how top heavy they will be after surgery.

21.01.2022 This mama (of 5!) is 6 weeks out from a tummy tuck and looking amazing! My lovely patient had a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) which involves repositioning the belly button so you can see the slight redness of the incision which will lighten up over the course of several months. Rectus muscle separation is repaired which brings in the waist and liposuction contours the hips. I have my patients wear a compression garment for 6 weeks and avoid heavy lifting and rigorous exercise for 4 weeks after surgery. Most patients are back to typical daily activities in a week!

18.01.2022 A BOLD look with submuscular 650cc round smooth silicone implants. I placed the implants through incisions in this patients underarms (known as a transaxillary approach). I am able to create the space under the pectoralis muscle where the implants will live by using a special long instrument which allows me to gain entrance under the muscle and open up the space quickly and safely. My fellowship director who I trained under in Seattle @drtonymangubat patented this genius instrument which is so helpful in transaxillary breast augmentation cases!

A Mummy Makeover this morning followed by a breast lift with augmentation and liposuction of the abdomen, both patients went home the same day What is a Mummy Makeover? Simply a breast lift (mastopexy) and tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) done as a single procedure. The breasts and abdomen are the parts of a womans body that are most affected by pregnancy and childbirth hence the name. As I tell my patients, babies keep me in business!

18.01.2022 Silicone implants come prefilled, so how do I get them into place on the chest through such a small incision? By using a funnel which allows me to guide them into place using a no-touch technique. The less an implant is handled, the less chance of contaminating it

17.01.2022 A breast augmentation hybrid procedure for this lovely patient. I placed 400cc round smooth silicone implants under the pectoralis muscle and used her own fat that I liposuctioned from her abdomen and transferred to her breasts to give her additional cleavage she desired. Her breasts had some sag preoperatively but the implants and transferred fat did fill out the loose skin very well so she avoided having a breast lift which involves more extensive scarring.

16.01.2022 An abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) this morning for my lovely patient. I perform liposuction of the abdomen and waist with my tummy tucks and in this patient transferred the suctioned fat to her breasts to fill out the lost volume. A good sized skin flap was removed and a nice flat abdomen is present immediately after the procedure.

14.01.2022 Breast augmentation with 550cc silicone gel implants for our lovely patient. Venturing into the 500cc and up range can give a busty look for many patients, however, she had such a natural-looking result showing that so many factors come into play when choosing a size. A patients frame, amount of natural breast tissue, and height all contribute to what the final look will be. So I always tell my patients to pick a size that looks good on them and not to worry about what that size looks like on anyone else as itll always be different!

04.01.2022 Fun day at the park with the little munchkin after a busy week of consulting and operating! Ill be consulting and operating through March 10 then taking 6 weeks maternity leave. Ill be back at work on May 5 consulting and operating 2 days per week
