15.01.2022 Even the little ones need chiro care they will benefit just as much from care as an adult would.. A baby is born with primary spinal curves (known as sacral and thoracic kyphosis) and in the first year of life, the spine doubles in length while the secondary curves (neck and lower back lordosis) form. This is a lot of change in a little body in such a short amount of time! When your baby starts lifting his head the neck curvature forms; when he learns to sit, the lower back curvature forms. However, without proper alignment during these important milestones, theres a chance that your childs spinal curvatures may not develop properly. This could hamper your childs physical development and slow the rate at which he reaches his milestones.



15.01.2022 The most common way that people use exercise is short-term exercise. Swimsuit season sneak up on you? New Years resolution? Single again? Training for a marathon? Got your wedding coming up? Better go to the gym. In the same way, the most common way that people use a... chiropractor is for short-term care. Hurt your back? Got into a car accident? Headache? Neck and shoulders are tight? Go to the chiropractor. It makes perfect sense. Short-term chiropractic care and short-term exercise are designed to meet a specific need. They arent supposed to be long-term fixes to chronic problems. They arent meant to be a lifestyle change. Going to a chiropractor with a chronic issue and hoping to fix it in 1 or 2 visits is sort of like being 30kg. overweight and hoping to lose it after a week of going to the gym. The best trainers in the world cant get that done. Its not realistic. Thats not to say that you cant or shouldnt use a chiropractor for short-term care. There is nothing wrong with that if its what you need. Its important to make sure your goals line up with your actions. If you try to fix a long-term problem with short-term care, you are just going to be frustrated.

The ankle, knee, hip, shoulder and ear should all fall on the green line but due to our lifestyles involving sitting at a desk all day or driving most people walk around with what looks like a turtle neck. They have been told to be careful with their backs and have the fear to do harm. . We know that fear is a huge driver of abnormal pain behaviour. . A shift in beliefs has to happen within the medical, physiotherapy profession and in the general public. . We can trust our back and shouldn't be feared. It is a robust, strong structure. Often with disabling back pain, the motor systems are overactive, hypersensitive. The muscles are guarding the back too much. 05.01.2022 Ill just get a new one Unfortunately you wont. The spine is one thing that you cant just get a new one.. how often does someone tell you they had a spine transplant? Never. Because they dont exist. Your spinal cord gives you the ability to bend and twist. When your spine is injured, your mobility is limited. If you accidentally injure it, wear it out over time, or have repeated bad posture, you could have difficulty with things such as sitting up straight, bending ove...r, picking things up, walking, twisting your spine, or moving your neck. So look after it!

We had such a ball back then, spending full days together, everyday for at least 8-10 contact hours. No internet. No phones. Just a bunch of guys and girls working solid for our masters degree over a 2 year period. We became such good friends and colleagues for life. We helped each other in every way possible, emotionally, physically and we laughe...d and cried along the way. I remember having 17 exams in my 4th year first semester. I was doing 14 subjects. It was 24/7 hard work. Some students worked at night to pay for their studies. What an incredible couple of years Ill never forget.
