25.01.2022 Having grown up riding off the track thoroughbreds and having our own off the track mare it’s beyond heart breaking to watch the abc report tonight.

24.01.2022 Thank you to everyone that came last night. We had 249 attend. A big thank you to Dr Ed Annand and Dr Richard LeStrange for speaking. Both presentations were extremely informative and addressed many if not all of the questions submitted on the survey. I hope that you took away that we are on your side, and are a trusted profession that is here to act in the best interest of yourself and your horse. Please complete the post event survey when we post it. Thank you

24.01.2022 Got lucky with the weather today!

24.01.2022 This is a common question by those breeding or buying young horses.

20.01.2022 Had a super weekend being one of the official FEI veterinarians at Tamworth International ODE. It was beautiful to see so many loved horses in top condition, performing so well!

14.01.2022 What a great sunset to end the weekend.

13.01.2022 Another fun weekend as the FEI official vet at the Lynton Horse trials. Best of luck to those competing.

12.01.2022 Thankyou Bowral Dressage Club for such an amazing event yesterday, beautiful grounds, lovely calm atmosphere, happy people and horses :) and amazing prizes! Very excited to win both my Elementary tests on Kaz and bring home the Champion rug!! Thankyou also to Karizmah Performance Palominos for sponsoring my class, Nu Walla hay for the beautiful Lucerne bale, and Bowral coop for the voucher!

07.01.2022 It was great to have so many people at the hendra information night last week though I understand the event went for too long and there wasn’t enough time to address all concerns/questions. Please take part in our post event survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZDQSRWH. We would like to make a podcast for all those that did attend, and had to leave early, or for people unable to attend, and will use information from survey to improve on our info night, Thankyou!!

07.01.2022 This event is on Tuesday night next week. Please register as soon as possible. This is a fantastic, and likely a one off opportunity to have a room of equine veterinarians from all over Sydney who are open to discussing their experience vaccinating horses. If you have safety concerns about the vaccine, this is even more reason to come along. You also have the opportunity to anonymously submit questions prior to the night so that we can answer them for you.

07.01.2022 The Hendra information evening is quickly approaching, 16th July. Those that have registered and completed the survey, thank you. There have been some fantastic questions asked already and we will be answering them on the night. The survey is anonymous so please feel free to be honest and open with your questions. One great question; More information about the vaccine and risks I want to vaccinate a horse but i am undecided if it is worth it, so want to know pros and cons including risks associated with vaccine and the risks of contracting the disease.

05.01.2022 An interesting article on performance horses and joint health. " I always tell my clientsespecially those who constantly want to do sliding stops, canter-pirouettes and jumpsthat the use of their horse is similar to the use of a bar of soap, she explains. A bar of soap has only so many rubs before it’s used up. Likewise, once you’ve used up the intrinsic repair capacity of the horse’s cartilage, it doesn’t regenerate itself.

01.01.2022 Dont forget the Hendra information evening is on TONIGHT!!! 6.30pm arrival for a 7pm start at the Camden Civic Centre.
