25.01.2022 Just a reminder that this is our final week in our office for 2020! Over our break, urgent and important emails will still be attended to in a timely fashion around personal and family activities but our office phone will be unattended. Even though the year is wrapping up, there’s so many projects on the go so our teams are still busy behind the scenes! We are excited for 2021 and what it may bring!

24.01.2022 Our DDH Racing team has been back doing what we love on weekends! Sadly, COVID put a stop to a lot of racing this year so weve been excited to go and visit a lot of our regional clubs to assist them getting back into events! Scott competes in Masters and for the last two weekends has placed 1st consistently in 3 races each day, earning 1st overall at both Keppel Bay and Rockhampton clubs. Dan competes in 85cc SW and is consistently working on his technique and speed! Hes had fun on both tracks this weekend - which is what we love to see. Motocross is a great way we spend time together as a family and amongst our MX community as well! 22.01.2022 This laundry and mud room was created to provide a bigger space for the workers at a homestead outside of Duaringa to be able to come in and quickly wash up before joining the family in the living and dining. Mud rooms are great ideas for all the necessary items you need as you come to and from the house but dont really want people to see at the front door! On Saturday night, Mel was able to spend the evening along side other amazing women in business in our community in a virtual event by Babes, Bubbles & Business! It was a great event with wonderful local women in business sharing, encouraging and inspiring each other and very well presented by Beck Smith who had to quickly change her game plan under all the government guidelines. This plan has quickly become one of Mels favourites with the separate media room to enjoy a movie whilst others are enjoying a coffee or drinks in the dining area. The laundry can be easily accessed across from the kitchen, which is also where parents can also easily observe what study is actually going on through the internal louvres. In this "project" she was able to knock walls down, move plumbing, put new walls up, all without the limitations of a budget! Woohoo!!! 03.01.2022 Last weekend we went into Rocky to support the annual Rocky Raiser - this year RADMX was fundraising for Free 3D Hands which works towards providing free assistive devices for anyone who needs them. Scott came away with 1st overall in Masters, the over 33 age and Dan competed in the 85cc class. He worked consistently over the weekend and had some good battles with his mates on the track. With most local clubs race calendars wrapping up for the year, we’re a little excited for a few quieter weekends (Like catching up on our own yard work, house work, study and all that good stuff ...) before Christmas hits!

03.01.2022 Progress on Mel's Certifticate in Interior Design is going well!! Study has gone slowly around work, kids, volunteer roles and downtime but its been received well by the mentors and trainers with high marks across all subjects and we have three modules to complete - as well as some advanced modules that are of interest!! Here is an example of some work in progress for an recent assessment where it was required to show how you would present ideas for colours, lighting, appliances, fittings, plumbing and furniture to clients on potential renovations, interior decorating and new homes.
