25.01.2022 2 more sleeps till our Mini showcase on Tuesday evening! The girls have all worked so hard and so conscientiously. What a privilege it has been to teach them all this year!

25.01.2022 Our 2020 drama classes start this week! 2019 ended on a high with our annual informal mini showcase - pics attached. So looking forward to seeing all my students again, and welcoming the new ones. I am especially excited to meet everyone in our new Year 1 class on Thursday! Bring on 2020 - here's to another great DreamDRAMA year!

24.01.2022 I want to congratulate the very first student who enrolled with dreamDRAMA when I opened my business almost 3 years ago, Ruby Miller, on today being announced head girl of Bellevue Hill Public School! dreamDRAMA is exceptionally proud of you Ruby, and we wish you a stunning year as Captain!

24.01.2022 Starting work on our pieces for the year end parents open class and mini showcase! Can't believe it's almost that time of the year again- time flies when you are working with so many lovely students!

23.01.2022 And just like that, the 2018 school year is upon us! After school Drama classes at Bellevue Hill Public School will resume from the 2nd week of the term, on 6 Feb! I look forward to welcoming my `old' students back, and to meeting all the newly enrolled students, as they embark on their dreamDRAMA journey with us. This year I have introduced a new class on Tuesdays, so we have a Year 1 & 2 group from 3.30pm- 4.15 pm, and a Year 3 class from 4.30 - 5.30 pm on Tuesdays. This is in addition to the other current dream DRAMA classes from Years 4- 6 which will stay in their same times. Both new classes have only a few spaces still available. Here's to a most productive, funfilled and creative year ahead, for all my dreamDRAMA students! Below are just a few pics of some enjoyable moments from 2017!

22.01.2022 So incredibly proud of the 13 dreamDRAMA students who chose to enter the West Ryde Eisteddfod, ( entry is optional) and who all performed so exceptionally well over the past 4 weeks, winning 1st places in verse 6 years and under, and 7 and under , in prose 8 and under, monologue 8 and under and novice 8 and under, and taking 3rd places in verse 7 and under and 11 and under, with most of the others getting highly commended and all receiving superb reports. What a privilege it is to teach you all!

20.01.2022 Some improv fun from a few weeks ago with my Years 6 and 7 group, before we had to worry about social distancing etc ! Very proud of how aware the girls now are of the use of space and levels in their spontaneous group work! I have closed as of today for the rest of the term, until the situation settles! Keep well everyone and take care!

20.01.2022 One of the greatest gifts we can give any child is the confidence to embrace the `stage of life- the confidence to express themselves clearly and articulately, to develop their creativity and imagination, to speak in public, and to believe in themselves! All the worlds a stage and drama classes will help your children to develop the tools to perform and express themselves to the best of their ability on any of life's platforms.

19.01.2022 This term has simply flown by and suddenly the Eisteddfods are almost upon us. It has been such a happy and productive term and the enthusiasm of all the students is wonderful to see and it is such a pleasure teaching each and every one of them! 18.01.2022 What a full, productive and rewarding term it has been!These are some random improv moments from our drama classes this term which was a term filled with lots of creativity, involvement and enjoyment. Term 4 will see us working towards our open class in December. Is it really almost the end of the year again? Hard to believe!

17.01.2022 What a great way to end our year! All the Dream DRAMA students excelled while performing to a full and very appreciative audience on the BHPS stage- ( with the backdrop from the school's recent art exhibition featuring in every picture :) ) I could not be prouder of each and every one of these talented `stars of the future'! Here's to 2019 when we will also be introducing a new Year 1 and 2 group on Wednesdays for anyone interested in coming on this journey with us.

15.01.2022 Excitement mounting as our year end Open Class approaches! The girls are fired up and working hard. New Tuesday class that will be starting in 2017 is already filling up, with only 3 vacancies remaining.

14.01.2022 So proud of my DreamDRAMA girls, 3 of whom were entered in the Sydney Speech and Drama Eisteddfod - 1 in the Character Solo in costume, 10& Under Category, and 2 in the Prose Category 10& Under. They all did exceptionally well, competing in categories with stiff competition, and all getting placed-2 with medals and one Highly Commended! Bravo girls - so very proud of you all! Ryde Eisteddfod next where a number of DreamDRAMA students will be performing throughout the month of August.

12.01.2022 So very proud of the Dream DRAMA girls who entered the Eisteddfod. Everyone did so well, with all attaining exceptionally high percentages either in the 90's or 80's! Their commitment, focus and passion for Drama was evident and it was a joy watching them all performing and most important of all, clearly enjoying every minute of the experience. Onwards and upwards...

12.01.2022 Eisteddfod time is upon us! My first entrant starts tomorrow and we have entries over the next 4 Saturdays and 1 Wednesday evening. Dream DRAMA girls - go out there, give it your best, and enjoy every moment of it!

07.01.2022 And so the 3rd term has started and with it come the Eisteddfods - those students entering Ryde start this Saturday with some of the younger ones - the 7 and under category , and thereafter we have students performing every Sat for the whole of August. Those entering SYDNEY Eisteddfod will be performing prose and monologues on Tuesday evening. We wish them all a happy and very positive performance experience! To all the DreamDRAMA students I look forward to a productive, creative and exciting term ahead!

04.01.2022 So proud at how well all my students adapted to our Zoom Online term 2 drama classes! They certainly did not let COVID stand in the way of their enjoyment,creativity and involvement in their drama lessons. Here are some pics from the last week of the term. Tomorrow I look forward to once again being able to teach them in the classroom as we begin term 3!

04.01.2022 This year is simply flying! After a wonderful second term and a short break, we begin term three on Tuesday, and will hit the ground running with the Eisteddfod starting on Saturday and continuing until the end of August. Those who have chosen to enter have all worked so hard on their performance pieces, and I am so proud of how they have all applied themselves. Now, each of you, go out there, and enjoy your moment in the spotlight!

04.01.2022 What a hectic month August was for DreamDRAMA! Fifteen students chose to enter the Ryde Eisteddfod where they all excelled in their various age groups, from 6 yrs and under, to 12 yrs and under, in categories ranging from verse speaking, to prose, or character solo in costume. In every category we had only one or two candidates competing in several large sections, where our students did exceptionally well against stiff competition, being awarded trophies for 1st,2nd or 3rd place, or receiving Highly Commended Awards in almost every category entered. Well done to each and every one of you- I am so proud of you all!

02.01.2022 We are about to start Term 4 when we will all be hard at work, focusing on our year end dreamDRAMA showcase. An exciting, fun- filled, busy, productive and creative time awaits us!

02.01.2022 It's certainly been a most unusual year, but we've got through it with very little interruption. Different format for a while, yes- but online teaching in term 2, though with its challenges, showed that nothing can stop the magic of a drama class! In 2021 DreamDRAMA will be offering a new Year 1 and 2 group at Bellevue Hill Public school. Have started taking enrolments for that class. Classes are small so spaces will be limited. 02.01.2022 The first term flew by! Can't believe we are already in the second term and at that stage where we need to start working towards the Eisteddfod. We have enjoyed selecting the different pieces the girls will be performing, and now comes the exciting time, watching them grow as they start prepping for the big day!
