25.01.2022 We unofficially dubbed our recent tour the "Big Kahuna" because it was a tour that started as Antarctica only and quickly modified and grew. We witnessed the inspiring Machu Picchu. We walked the Amazonian jungle. We were wowed by Iguassu Falls. We were moved by Antarctica. A huge shoutout to this amazing group of humans who said 'yes' and joined us on this adventure of a lifetime. We will always treasure these once in a lifetime experiences!

25.01.2022 Heres an Antarctica lesson in scale. Some people commented that they imagined a relatively flat landscape. They were astonished to learn how high the mountains rose out of the Southern Ocean, how many shapes and sizes icebergs can form (more on that soon) and how large the Antarctic continent is - we saw such a small percentage of the peninsula in our action packed 11 day cruise. These photos will try to showcase size but photos can never do it justice.

25.01.2022 A new day, and a new country for us! Iguazú Falls is such an incredible place to witness and its made so much better when the weather turns it on. Today was the Brazilian side and tomorrow, we see Argentinas view of the same falls before we start our long journey home

24.01.2022 What makes Dream Maker Travel Different? If you have never traveled with us before come and lean about a few of the special things we do for our clients! We also have some exciting news coming soon about upcoming departures, watch our video to find out more.

22.01.2022 Three days of planes, one new country ticked and weve arrived at the bottom of the world - almost! Tomorrow well board our vessel, brave the drake passage and sail to Antarctica. If you dont hear from us for eleven days its because were going on a forced celular detox. No phone coverage, no wifi! Just penguins, icebergs and a whole lot to explore The seventh continent awaits!!

22.01.2022 To our 2019 Greek Islands and Mediterranean guests, We would absolutely have loved to see you all this evening to reminisce, catch up and celebrate this fantastic tour onboard the Celebrity Cruises Edge. However, your health and safety must come first and for that reason, we appreciate your patience as we have postponed our Welcome Home Dinner. As you know, Fiona makes a complementary DVD of the tours she escorts and she didn't want you to wait a moment longer. So, here is ...a highlight video of our tour to whet your appetite. We can't wait to share the full tour memories with you on our new Welcome Home dinner evening. So, welcome aboard our Celebrity Edge and our magic journey through the Mediterranean Sea. Starting in Rome, finishing in Venice, we sailed to Greece, Spain, Malta, Italy and Monaco and ticked many bucket list destinations on the way. Enjoy

22.01.2022 Mondays are for memories. This one comes at you from the end of the world, February 2020: Antarctica. Here, many of our guests were treated to very special Humpback encounters. Only one of these shots was taken with a long lens, the rest were on an iPhone! Have you heard a whale bellow before? Have you been close enough to cop the spray as they breathe at the surface? From our @Oceanwide Expeditions zodiacs, we experienced that - not just once but on multiple occasions. T...hey seemed unperturbed by our presence, swimming right up to and under our boats on the hunt for krill. A great memory for anyone who has had a close encounter with these remarkable creatures. : Janette Hemelaar, Playful Lens Chimu Adventures

22.01.2022 Another important date is passing us by that cannot go unrecognised. Our Australian Red Centre Tour guests should be sipping shiraz at an Adelaide winery and getting ready to embark north on their tour to Uluru and Kakadu. Weve extended the excitement of this Aussie experience into 2021 - iconic outback Australia at its best. Meanwhile, Russell Coight has nothing on our GM! Budgy Smugglers eat your heart out!

22.01.2022 We had an absolutely sensational first few days in the FNQ. First on Brett’s Outback Tasting Adventures of the Atherton Tablelands. We were treated to a gourmet sampling of culinary delights of this region. Such a delicious variety of flavour so whet our appetite. Plus, we saw a platypus!!! In the wild - our photographer, Fiona was like a kid at Christmas so Nola got her a mascot to commemorate the occasion.

21.01.2022 Pink straps and a bucket load of suitcases - who knows what that means? Were on the move again and this time out of the clouds and into a sea of humidity. Were very glad to welcome back oxygen into our lungs after six nights above 2500m and we welcome our exciting adventure in the Amazonian jungles of Peru ! Its definitely a contrast of views from the window seat and check out our stunning eco lodge - home for the next three nights. Weve already seen a family of capybaras, macaws, a squirrel and monkeys . The sun is setting and the jungle is coming alive!

21.01.2022 Machu Picchu - we knew it was a case of, not if it rained, but when - and yet, we got so incredibly lucky with the weather. After all, it is rainy season in the mountains of Peru! We started with sunny skies, clouds rolled in, the rain came and just like that, it was gone again. The clouds added to the ambience that is this amazing wonder of the world. Dreams were made!

21.01.2022 Day 3 of our Kingaroy Tour started with a very Special visit to Bethany Farm where we Toured the farm and we were hosted & entertained by John Bjelke-Peterson !! What a wonderful interesting event followed by Pumpkin Scones made to Lady Flo’s famous recipe. Next was our much anticipated drive to & through the Bunya Mountains. We had a delicious Lunch at the Bunya’s Cafe & many Dream Makers indulged in their Famous BURGERS !!!!!! Then we were hosted at the Bunya Red Farm where we got to taste & learn everything about Capers & Caperberries. We just loved this visit and many Capers were bought. Then it was back to Kingaroy for Drinks & Dinner. Just a truly Special day for us all.....

20.01.2022 Who can relate? We definitely can.

20.01.2022 This is how seals do yoga Many of the seals we saw were sleeping on icebergs and, as our zodiac buzzed past, they would often open their eyes and stick up their head before promptly falling back asleep.

20.01.2022 Weve had a great - albeit wet - day in our Amazonian home. Our 5am activity departure coincided with a thunderstorm but it didnt rain on our parade. An activity reshuffle had us visiting a local farm and Sharman centre where we learned about local produce, fruit and medicine. By the afternoon, the rain had cleared and we were climbing a tower above the canopy for amazing views of the jungle.

18.01.2022 Our Barrier Reef tour is back in reception and honey, honey, honey, what a tour it has been so far! We’ve snorkelled with turtles, manta rays and gropers. We’ve visited Cooktown and now Port Douglas on the way to the Daintree River. Most importantly, we’ve made some amazing memories with a fabulous crew of people. This is how we cruise now and we couldn’t be happier.

17.01.2022 Since leaving the Amazonian jungles of Peru , weve made our way down to the bottom of the world at Ushuaia, Argentina. But before we leave civilisation and cruise south to Antarctica, we wanted to show you some of the unique wildlife we saw in the jungle. Some were expected, some were a complete surprise and some were down right weird.

16.01.2022 Happy would-be Canada and Alaska day from our home to yours Alas, today, instead of being in the excitement bubble of a Qantas cabin, our wonderful Canada and Alaska guests are confined by the borders of Queensland. The Dream holiday will have to wait until another glorious day in the future. Its bittersweet to consider all those beautiful bears waking from their slumber in the Canadian Rockies. Imagine their confusion as they stumble around for food, unimpeded by the R...Vs and tour buses. So we thought wed share with you some bears of our own. While they havent been hibernating per-se, they are now allowed to venture out of the confines of their home. And who better to tame and train wandering bears than our very own Hilary? One BERRY cheeky bear could not be fully tamed though. Hilary always know how to find the BEARY best porter service in Canada #punintended! Let us know what you think below and if youve got any Canada or bear puns, wed love to hear them. Globus Celebrity Cruises

15.01.2022 Weve just enjoyed two wonderful nights in the Sacred Valley but well come back to that because who can guess where we are? Today is the day where many dreams are made.

15.01.2022 Day 3 in Stanthorpe Can you imagine that we have had another Perfect Day here on the Granite Belt ! First Stop we discovered Stanthorpes Pyramid then off to Jamworks for Scones & Cream & of course Pantry Shopping for treats. Then it was Wine Tasting at Rumbalara Estate followed by a Srummy Country Lunch at Blue Pot Cafe. Now it was time again for a Shop Stop at the quaint Washpool Soaperie for some sweet smelling Soaps, Candals & Gifts. Finally we managed to squeeze in one more Winery with a stop at Ballandean Estate for a tasting & many cases of Wine were loaded on board the Coach here. !!!! Just another Perfect DREAM MAKER Day

15.01.2022 Were back in civilisation but we left our hearts in Antarctica. Words can do little to describe how humbling the experience is, how small you feel in comparison to the landscape and how much we need to protect this pristine and unique land. Our posts re Antarctica dont end here but we feel absolutely changed forever.

13.01.2022 Dont feel like travelling overseas this year? Did you know we have a tour group that will be exploring our Red Centre right here at home? Our journey begins in the lively city of Adelaide and finishes in the spectacular landscapes of Kakadu. Tour gems include the Barossa Wine Region, Kings Canyon, and Uluru. 12.01.2022 To our Dream Maker Travel family What a start to the year we have had! We will be honest and say it has driven us to drink!... Firstly, we would like to take a moment to thank all of our beautiful clients and suppliers who have reached out to us in the last few weeks with messages of support and love. COVID-19 is an event that our industry has never faced before, and it is heartbreaking to see the effect it is having worldwide - not only on tourism, but the global economy. In saying that, we want to assure all of our wonderful Dream Maker clients that even though our group tours for the next few months may be postponed, our office will remain open. During times of social distancing, we will be accessible via phone and emails. Hilary has even learnt how to use FaceTime, if you prefer face to face contact! We are in an incredibly fortunate position of having a home based agency. We also know that our smart, forward business planning will see us come out the other side of this period, not only surviving but flying. Over the next few months we are going to focus our energy on planning a bigger and better 2021. So keep an eye on your inbox as we will be sending out new tours to bring a little joy and to keep your travel dreams alive. If you want to get in contact with us, you can always call the office, and we would like to go one step further and provide personal mobile contact details for Hilary, Holly & Luke. If you would like these details please email us and we will reach out to you. We are sending all our support and love over the next few months. Please stay safe and stay inside as much as possible. We hope to see all your smiling faces and travel again with you in the near future. Hilary, Holly & Luke Dream Maker Travel

12.01.2022 Another Monday and with it brings more memories. One thing we know how to do is Canada and over the years we've been blessed with a high frequency, and in many cases, unique experiences of bear sightings. We got many magic bear moments in 2019 but that is not our memory today. On our 2019 Canada and Alaska tour, not even James - our Globus guide extraordinaire - could have predicted we would see, not just one, but six moose. To put this in perspective, Hilary has done over ten Canada and Alaska tours and this was her FIRST moose sighting. To see six - well, we had bragging rights all over the Rockies! These are three of the moose our photographer Playful Lens managed to capture - the other three were too quick to capture.

12.01.2022 Mondays are for sharing memories and this one comes at you from Switzerland. All the elements lined up to contribute to this picture perfect Christmas in the Swiss Alps - fresh snow, bluebird sky, great company! What could make it better? Hilary always knows how to make the special occasions more special - on this occasion it was matching Santa Hats and shots of Baileys at the top of the world.

11.01.2022 Our 2nd day in Stanthorpe has been just Wonderful. First Stop Christmas Farm & all the ladies LOVED the Christmas Shop. Well then Dream Maker does a Wine Flight Tasting with Lunch at Heritage Winery of "Chilli Con Carne w/ Baked Sweet Potato & Sour Cream" Outstanding Off to a very Special Dinner t...onight. Stanthorpe we LOVE YOU See more

10.01.2022 14 flights down and we've got one to go. We were very happy to see that red tail and now we're back on Australian soil. Qantas had a final surprise in store - a flight path that gifted us one last look at the white continent. See you in an hour Brisbane

10.01.2022 Happy would-be Tahiti day from our home to yours Its a bittersweet day as we recognise instead of a flight to an exotic destination, we are restricted to the boundaries of our homes. You can be as creative as you like, but mostly wed love to see your beautiful faces! This is not restricted to our Tahiti guests, the more the merrier. 01.01.2022 Did we mention that we saw whales in Antarctica? Our first landing was in the midst of a krill feeding frenzy. And out in Paradise Bay - yes Paradise is in Antarctica - one lucky zodiac of Dream Makers were stalked by a curious pod.
