23.01.2022 In December 2018 Jennilee reached out to Dreams2Live4. She dreamt of having a dog of her own - a companion who she could share every waking moment with - a furry friend that she could love and whose presence would support her through her cancer journey. The little black pug she named Donatello has not left her side since the day they first met. Having Donnie with me every day is so magical. Every day becomes meditative when I walk with him but also fun, interesting with a f...eeling of love and joy, said Jennilee Jennilee has been back in hospital recently so we caught up to find out how Donnie is helping to keep her spirits up. When I was in the hospital ward thinking I wasn't going to make it, seeing Donnie made me rethink my thoughts. I couldn't allow myself to think I was going to leave this world with Donnie being left and I made sure I was going to fight, live and give him all the love he deserves. Neil is an avid Brumbies fan and when Covid started to spread he never thought that he would watch a live match again. When Dreams2Live4 contacted the Brumbies and Rugby Australia, they were more than happy to help make his dream come true, and gave Neil a corpor...ate box so that he could watch the game safely. 16.01.2022 Alison’s dream is for her youngest daughter Sienna, 13, to record a song. Sienna has been singing her whole life. I wish she had been taught professionally. Sometimes I hear her sing in her room and I have to stop and listen thinking ‘is that really her singing, or the artist?’ She has such a talent, said Alison. I always knew she’d record a song one day and I know she’ll sing it like an angel, she added.

15.01.2022 After receiving the devastating news that his cancer had spread "I knew that I had to get myself sorted," said Darryl. His dream was to go to Perth to spend some quality time with his mother and sister while he was still able to travel. "It would mean the world to me to have this time with them, wrote Darryl. ... Thanks to our supporters, Darryls dream came true. I can tell you that the trip had a great impact on my 88 year old mother, it made her so happy," said Darryl. 13.01.2022 Michael (pictured left) always dreamt of going deep sea fishing but unfortunately his medical condition made this impossible. Instead, he chose to spend the weekend relaxing on a houseboat with my family, fishing , listening to music, relaxing with good food and good company. 13.01.2022 A few years ago, we had the pleasure of making a dream come true for Lisa who wanted to spend precious time with her family in Broome. Not shy about sharing her cancer journey, Lisa wrote a blog which was read by over 65,000 people. Honoring her daughters wish, Lisas Mum Geraldine has published her blog in a book called Terminally Fabulous. Proceeds from the book launch and sales are being donated to Dreams2Live4 so that more dreams can come true. Peter and I were absolu...tely over the moon to donate $8500 to Dreams2live4, said Geraldine, Lisas Mum. I know Lisa would be so, so proud of this effort, she loved Dreams2live4 and the amazing work they did and continue to do for adults with metastatic cancer. 09.01.2022 Some people spend months planning their wedding - others dont have the luxury of time. Leanne, the partner of our Dreamer Daniel, contacted Dream maker Louise one Thursday. They wanted to get married the next day. Daniel, her partner and father of their children, was in intensive care. They had planned a wedding and honeymoon in August but time was running out.... Usually, you are required to lodge a notice of intended marriage at least one month before the wedding, but luckily we were able to work closely with the staff from St George Hospital and the celebrant Gary Mooney to gain a license so the wedding could go ahead, said Louise. The wedding, which was held at St George Hospital and conducted by SydneyCelebrant Gary Mooney was beautiful. Hospital staff came in on their day off or stayed after their shift to witness the union. Love filled the room as Daniel and Leanne said I do. The ripple effect has been incredible. Getting married has changed everything. We feel so much more settled. 08.01.2022 Chris dreamt of a professional photo shoot with his family and friends to capture the love and unbreakable bonds of friendship they shared. Thanks to Dreams2Live and photography services provided by White Feathers Photography, his dream came true. It allowed me to capture some memorable moments that everyone can cherish for times to come; it allowed me a day to forget all my worries and just enjoy the company of the people that I love,'' said Chris.... Sadly, Chris recently passed and his friends and family requested that donations are made to Dreams2Live4 in lieu of flowers. ''Having something to look forward to really lifted Chris spirits and boosted his will to push through those last moments with a smile,'' said his friend Mathew. She desperately dreamt of escaping the tough conditions and cancer treatments, to go on a family holiday to Tasmania. 05.01.2022 Annies dream came true when she celebrated her 60th birthday with her family on North Stradbroke Island, a place that holds a special place in her heart. Annie was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer at 57 and was worried she would miss the final years of her career as a midwife, and retirement with her husband and seeing her children get married and start their own families. She realised it was time to make the most of her time with her family, and create precious mem...ories. Dreams2live4 made it possible for us to experience carefree and happy times again. To come together at this time when we are really needing the comfort of each other and to be free from the worry of what the future holds.

04.01.2022 Beth and her family have always been big dog lovers. She cant remember a time when dogs were not part of her life. When she was having treatment for her cancer, Beth would watch the videos posted by Doggy Daycare Farm Trips, a place where dogs from the city can go and have the best day of their lives, and they would brighten her day and make her happy. Her dream was to spend the day at the farm and to soak up the sunshine and happiness first-hand. Doggy Day Care Farm Trips i...s not open to visitors, but Luke and the team at the farm welcomed Beth with open arms. She had a wonderful day and the dogs showered her with cuddles and love. 04.01.2022 Tinas dream was to have a Samoan choir to sing for her as she lay critically ill in her hospital bed. With time running out, Dream maker Louise knew that she needed to make the dream come true that very day, and she set out to find a choir. I googled Samoan choirs and found the Mount Druitt Conquers who are part of the Mount Druitt Samoan Seventh-day Adventist Church. ... It was too far for them to travel to the hospital so we arranged a Zoom call so they could fill Tinas room with their beautiful songs, added Louise. We sang a mixture of Samoan Songs and Church songs - it was a massive privilege to be asked to sing for Tina, said Henry, a member of the Mount Druitt Conquers. 04.01.2022 Ken is dreaming of a short getaway with his partner Beverley, where he can rest and regroup before he starts cancer treatment again. Queensland based, he originally wanted a to come to Sydney to see his children and grandchildren, but Covid-19 has put an end to his plans. 03.01.2022 "I just wanted to let my kids be kids again'' Jos dream was to take her kids on holiday to Coffs Harbour and the Big Banana Family Fun Park. Jo's cancer diagnosis had turned her world upside down, and her three young kids have been by her side throughout. ... Following gruelling surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, Jo was unable to look after her children the way she wanted to. She could barely look after herself. Her children had to grow up way too fast. My kids are my everything and I just wanted to let my kids be kids again. I am so lucky that Dreams2Live4 could do this for my family, said Jo.
