22.01.2022 What a year it has been! Despite that we have much to be thankful for. As the year draws to a close, we would like to thank all our valued referrers, colleagues, patients and industry partners for your support throughout this most challenging year. Both our clinics City Eye Surgeons and Mt Waverley Eye Surgeons will be taking a break from 23rd December and re-opening on 5th Jan 2021.... We wish you all the compliments of the season and best wishes for a lovely Christmas and New Year. #christmasparty #winerylunch #ophthalmology #eyeclinic #tokarestate

21.01.2022 Corneal re-shaping combined with corneal cross-linking for #keratoconus aims to flatten the cone, improve the overall shape of the cornea and stop progression of keratoconus. This shape optimisation typically produces a two line improvement in spectacle corrected vision as well an improved prescription that is better tolerated with glasses or contact lenses. #schwindlaser #keratoconus #cornea #crosslinking #laserrefractivecxl #astigmatism #bettervision #2020vision #pentacam #cityeyesurgeons #manninghamprivatehospital

04.01.2022 With increasing concerns around the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we would like to inform you of the measures we have put in place to protect the safety of our patients, staff and community. We hope you understand that we do not have the appropriate personal protective equipment to be able to see patients at high risk of COVID-19 in our practice. We therefore ask that you re-schedule your appointment if you have cold/viral/flu symptoms, have had contact with known COVID-19, o...r have travelled overseas in the last 14 days. You will have your temperature checked prior to entry into the practice. We request that you attend alone, but should you need a driver/carer to accompany you, that they wait in the car. No children are allowed to attend the appointment. We ask that you sanitise your hands on entering the practice. You will find hand sanitisers at the reception desk and in the waiting room. You will be asked to sanitise your hands again on entering the consultation room. Appointments have been spaced out to allow for minimum contact between patients. Our waiting room has also been modified to comply with social distancing rules. Rest assured also that all necessary hygiene measures are taken to reduce the spread of infection. Our staff will sanitise all chairs, diagnostic equipment and slit lamps after every patient. We thank you for your understanding as we do our best to continue providing you with the care you need during these difficult times. #covid19 #coronavirus #ophthalmology #eyeclinic #socialdistancing #pandemic #lockdown @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
