25.01.2022 Meet Zoe and Chris Moroney - our wonderful patients of the week thank you both for sharing your journey of hope with our fb family... When we decided to start our family back in 2017, we never thought wed embark on a fertility journey that would be full of disappointment, tears & upset; yet also full of excitement, hope and love. Like most couples starting your journey for a family, you assume you will fall pregnant naturally with no problem so after 18 months of trying,... we knew we needed someone on our team. Dr Ong was our man! We knew we were in good hands as he managed to get me a beautiful niece in 2019 after my sister also experienced infertility. We went through 3 full stimulation IVF cycles which resulted in 15 eggs collected & out of that, only 6 embryos formed with only 3 suitable for transfer. In 2019, I had 6 general anaesthetics, we fell pregnant naturally only to go on & have a miscarriage at 9 weeks. 2 laprascopic surgeries to remove endometriosis, 2 embryo transfers that ended up failing. And weight gain of over 10kgs caused by nothing other than a whole lot of hormones . After all of this, we were lucky enough to welcome our little miracle Hugo John Moroney on June 27th this year.. He couldnt wait to meet us and came 5 weeks early at a healthy 3kg. We are totally smitten with him and cant thank Dr Ong enough for supporting & guiding us on the journey to become parents. Never give up! See more

25.01.2022 Many of you have followed the incredible journey of Sam and Max. Tonight some words from Sam for #endometriosisawarenessmonth In 2015 Max and I started our journey of trying for a baby. Little did I know that 6 years later and 3 laparoscopies that we would finally be able to hold our babies.... In school as a teenager we were never taught about endometriosis. In fact it wasn’t even really mentioned to me until 2017 after I’d had multiple failed attempts at IVF and Dr Ong told me it was really only my last option to rule out everything. Most embryos weren’t showing any sign of implantation or if they did I would miscarry. I’d had every other test done and I was scared to have a laparoscopy. I always thought why bother? Nothing will be found. I didn’t have any symptoms. Or so I thought. Growing up each menstrual cycle I had severe bloating. I didn’t even realise this was a symptom. When I woke after my first operation I was shocked when Kee told me I had a moderate amount of endometriosis. Since then I had another laparoscopy in 2018 and in 2020 just prior to my most recent transfer which finally resulted in my twins sticking & making me a Mum after a long journey. I am 1 in 10. Don’t leave it. All I can suggest is that you seek help and sooner rather than later. See an endometriosis excision specialist not just someone who will do a diagnostic laparoscopy. Even if you think it can’t be you because you have no or minimal symptoms- it absolutely can. It wreaks havoc on our body. Affects egg quality, causes indescribable pain, and plays a huge role in some of the reasons why women suffer with infertility. Don’t waste precious time like I did. Thank you so much Sam for sharing your story #endometriosis #endometriosisawareness #endo #endowarrior #endosisters #endometriosiswarrior #endometriosissupport #endometriodisadvocate

25.01.2022 Today it was announced that the Queensland Government are implementing new border restrictions effective 1.00am on August 8. These new restrictions will impact ...our patients living in a border community in New South Wales, who need to travel to Queensland for fertility treatment. We can confirm that you are able to continue your treatment providing you adhere to the following Queensland Government requirements. 1. As of August 8 anyone living in an eligible postcode within the border community zone will be eligible for an X Pass. Anyone with an X pass can cross the border by vehicle for any purpose, but must remain in the border zone. To see if you live in an eligible post code, visit: https://www.health.qld.gov.au//bord/border-restrictions-11 2. As of August 8, anyone living outside this border zone and in a hotspot (this includes all of NSW, ACT and VIC) who needs to enter Queensland needs to: - Apply for a Queensland Border Declaration Pass. This will need to be updated every 7 days. - Be entering Queensland for an essential activity. Receiving or supporting someone who is receiving essential medical care is considered an essential activity however you must provide evidence. This evidence can be in the form of a letter from your Fertility Specialist. - To enter Queensland, you must do so by plane. If you are not eligible for an X pass, you cannot travel to Queensland by vehicle. - You must enter hotel quarantine when you land in Queensland at your own expense for 14 days. You are able to leave quarantine for your medical appointments, but then you will need to return to hotel quarantine for the full 14 day quarantine period. We understand that these changes may be upsetting for our patients. We are here to support you during this time. If you have any questions or concerns please contact your Fertility Specialist. Take care and stay safe.

22.01.2022 Meet our wonderful patients of the week..Simon and Nicola Gay. We saw Dr Kee Ong after 6-8 months trying ourselves. After lots of blood tests, it came back that I have a Balanced Translocation and the best option would be IVF with PGD testing on my embryos. We decided with Kee we would do 3 back to back rounds of IVF and trying to test as many as possible. First round got 12 eggs; by day 5, I had 2 ready to freeze and was made aware my egg quality wasnt great. Round 2; an...other 2 embryos to freeze, round 3; all embryos arrested by day 3. We sent off our 4 embryos for PGD testing and didnt get the results we were hoping for. 2 unbalanced and 2 inconclusive results. We decided to do another round to get more embryos for testing, and retest the other 2. First Kee wanted to do a laparoscopy to check for endo and a few months of meds to try improve my egg quality. Round 4; all embryos arrested by day 3. Again egg quality not good and maybe we should start thinking about egg donor. We decided to try with mine 1 more time. Round 5; all embryos arrested by day 3 and we were devastated. We decided it was time to look into an egg donor. I wrote up my ads and posted on EDA and Egg Donor Angels A few days later, I had an amazing girl from Perth contact me and after a few emails getting to know each other she offered to be our donor. She was perfect, she gave us 8 beautiful eggs which gave us 3 little embryos. We did a fresh transfer and that gave us our beautiful baby boy, Harry who has just turned 5. When Harry was 1 we decided to try for another. We transferred one of our frozen embryos with no luck so we went straight in for the last embryo which gave us our Beautiful baby girl Lucy who is turning 3 this October. Simon and I are forever grateful for Dr Ong and our amazing Donor It was a long journey, lots of tears and anger but worth every minute of it to get our 2 babies. Never give up Thank you so much Simon and Nicola for sharing your story and spreading hope. What a beautiful little family you have made. See more

21.01.2022 The greatest enemy of fertility is time. Have you checked your eggs? ‘Averages’ are not ‘everyone’ and even if it’s not time for baby right now - it’s still crucial to be proactive and know the options for your fertility future!

19.01.2022 We need to address the myth that couples will wait years to find an egg donor in Australia; its simply not the case. Were now talking weeks or months and the Internet gives couples options and choices when it comes to finding the right donor fit. The landscape for egg donor conception has completely changed and online avenues have opened up a whole new source of information, support and access to women willing to donate here in Australia. Organisations making an incredib...le difference include Egg Donation Australia and Egg Donor Angels; The important message is to explore all avenues and work through the pros and cons of potential donors under the close guidance of your fertility specialist to find the one that feels right for you as a couple. While anonymous egg donation is illegal in Australia, its common practice in countries like Thailand, Greece and South Africa. I strongly urge couples to seek local treatment. We have systems and legislation in Australia to protect all parties involved; our recipient couples, our donors and the children born via donor egg conception. Australia provides compulsory counseling and laws preventing anonymous donation to ensure children will be able to access genetic information that may be crucial to their future health and emotional wellbeing. Research has shown being honest with children born via egg donor conception provides the best outcomes for everyone. Couples must think about what theyll tell their child and prepare themselves for the childs decision on whether they want or need to investigate further. In Australia, we provide world-class expertise and the security of established clinics. Local treatment also means couples will be surrounded by a very strong support network of family and friends as well as their fertility clinic. Please stay in Australia for the best treatment and use all avenues available including the Internet to be proactive in your search. Never let anyone tell you that nothing can be done and dont ever give up hope. See more

18.01.2022 More memories through from Joni as her twins turn four today

18.01.2022 This weeks incredible patients of the week - thank you Tara Garrett & Cameron Hyde for sharing your extremely tough and brave journey... My partner Cameron and I first met with Kee in September, 2017 in the hope of starting our family. After being diagnosed with advanced rectal cancer in 2016, Cameron aged 26, froze sperm prior to undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery. Unfortunately, during Camerons lifesaving 12.5 hour operation to remove his tumour, some ...nerves were damaged, leaving him permanently unable to get an erection/ejaculate. A year later, we decided to start trying for a family. IUI or IVF was our only hope, and after meeting with Kee we decided to jump straight into IVF as we wanted to start as soon as possible. We commenced our cycle that next month, and continued trying for the best part of 2 years. 3 stimulation cycles, 7 embryo transfers (using 12 embryos), 3 miscarriages requiring 3 Dilation and Curettages, 3 failed cycles, 2 surgeries to remove severe endometriosis and a uterine septum, 8 hospital admissions and 7 general anaesthetics, being pricked, prodded and probed countless times, pumped full of hormones, steroids and immune protocols, gaining 15kgs and handing over tens of thousands - the constant heartache was overwhelming. During this time we received another devastating blow. Camerons cancer had returned, this time it had metastasised into his lungs. We both knew we wanted nothing more than to be parents and with a terminal diagnosis looming over Cameron, it gave us more ammunition to fight. Growing more heartbroken day-by-day, we decided to do one last cycle. Kee recommended us to do another PGS cycle but to do a fresh transfer. By Day 5 we had 9 embryos - we put all our faith in our Kee and the embryologists to make the best decision on transfer day; they advised to do a double transfer of 2 okay looking blastocysts and save the others for PGS testing. As I sat in the transfer room, a place Id been 7 times before; bladder full, naked from the waist down, legs up in stirrups and my girlfriend there for support we watched embryos #1 and #6 being passed in a catheter and transferred into my uterus. It turns out that our little Day 5 embryo, our little speck of dust whod been growing in a lab alongside their brothers and sisters (6 now safely tucked away in the freezer) decided to stick and 9 months later, our perfect daughter, Lennie Francis Hyde was born on the 30/01/2020. Our wonderful Kee miracle; we cannot thank Kee and all of the Monash staff enough for our precious gift. Our hearts are heavy for those still fighting their battle. Tara and Cameron you are simply amazing! See more

18.01.2022 Wishing a very happy birthday to little Jolene and Henley today and sharing some words through from their very special mum! Happy 4th birthday to my sweet miracle twin girls. Jolene and Henley celebrate their birthday today and its also the day I celebrate Uncle Kee. I was told I wouldnt have my own children but a second opinion (interstate), Kee gave me the hope that I needed whilst I endured my infertility journey. Kee, thank you for giving me the greatest gift...motherhood. I had dreamt of my girls my entire life. And special love and gratitude to my dream team Tineke, Lyndal and Kate. You are always in my heart. Love Joni, Jolene and Henley See more

17.01.2022 Tonight’s Xmas post of hope from Katrina starring gorgeous Finn 2y5m and Coen 12m It was a long journey to get my first son transferring from a Sydney clinic to Qld. Finn came after 3EPUs, trf #10 and embryos 16/17. 2EPUs, 7trfs and 13 embryos at another clinic. Coen was still no easy feat. But we got there after 2EPUs, trf#2 and embryo #2. I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Dreams do come true. Sending lots of love for all the Xmas miracle babies being born, little peanuts in their Mumma's Bellies and parents trying to conceive xoxo thank you Katrina for some beautiful words of hope

17.01.2022 So very grateful to Rachel, the first to bravely share her story in our very own ‘real faces of endo’ awareness campaign. My real journey with Endometriosis started about 4 years ago when I started to develop symptoms that I’d never had before. I’m 30 now but only received my Endo diagnosis 12 months ago. I was lucky enough to have cycles that were regular and not overly painful so I never would have known anything was amiss. However, out of no where at 26, I started ...to have digestion/bowel issues, weight loss and pain. I sought help through a GP and was referred for investigation to a Gastroenterologist who slapped me with the label of IBS. I carried on with these symptoms for a few years knowing something just wasn’t right. When my husband, Chris and I started trying for a family we had no idea of the hard road ahead of us. After suffering 4 miscarriages we just knew further investigation had to be done. Eventually after demanding a referral to a specialist and having a Laparoscopy I found out I in fact had Endo. It was hard to hear but also such a relief to finally have an answer. Unfortunately my egg count and quality is not what it should be, having likely been effected by Endometriosis. So we are going through IVF in the hopes of beginning our family. After a recent Laparoscopy with the lovely Dr Kee Ong to remove more Endo, we are about to embark on another IVF round soon and are very hopeful. If I could offer any advice to women who have an inkling that something isn’t right, it’s please advocate for yourself, ask the questions, ask for that test, ask for that referral. I got there in the end and am now in great hands but an earlier diagnosis can make all the difference for symptom management and fertility. Finally having a diagnosis has connected many dots and has been paramount to moving forward with my journey and building an incredible support system Grateful to be on this journey with you Rachel! Together we will achieve your dream! #endowarrior #endometriosis #endometriosisawareness #endometriosisaearenessmonth

16.01.2022 What a wonderful way to head into the weekend - A toast to Sam and Max! With shaking hands and the happiest of tears in my eyes, I honestly cant believe how blessed Max and I are. What has been the longest 6 years of our lives, the hardest time, yet a time we couldnt give up as 1 goal was on our mind. Its finally our time to share with everyone that Max and I are expecting not just 1 BUT 2 babies in January 2021. 11 stim cycles... 27 embryos 5 miscarriages hundreds of needles so many tears and so much 168 (or so) eggs collected 3 laparoscopies, 8 D&Cs, 8 hysteroscopies, tubal flushes, intralipids.. the list goes on and on! To say its been easy to get this far is an understatement!!! And I doubt its going to be easy from here on in. The first 3 months have been horrible for me. Ive been so sick and had so many days I could barely leave the bed- BUT I am not whinging! But through those tears and the hurt we pushed on under the guidance of Dr. Kee Ong and we never gave up, and he never gave up on us. Kee helped me over the last 5 years to ensure I pursued my dream, he supported us through our hard days and kept encouraging us and ensuring we always had a plan moving forward. He made sure he always had something more up his sleeve and insisted that my immune issues werent misunderstood or not treated. His care towards us was above and beyond anything we could have wanted from a specialist. Kee really is a miracle man. And while we know with my history we have a long way to go yet, we are forever greatful that Kee has been on our side throughout this journey. So for now we know we still have a long way to go but we have been told we are allowed to share our news. All scans, bloods and tests have come back as perfect and today was special when we saw them waving and sticking their Thumbs and flipping around all the while with my Mum and Max there. It was so surreal that this is our time. I am actually going to be a Mumma So for now under the guidance of Dr Suhad Hassan - Obstetrician & Gynaecologist we look to the future and pray, wish and hope that we can keep these babies as healthy as possible and safe as possible for as long as possible. On the 10weeks scan we could find out what gender they both are! They are PG normal so a few weeks ago we found out the sex. We are lucky and blessed to be having a little boy and a little girl I know this post is triggering for some but please let it give you strength and hope to never give up. Look for answers, advocate for your journey, trust in your specialist and have patience in the journey. If your not happy please seek a second opinion and never let anyone tell you immune issues arent real. Im a huge advocate for immune issues as this was and is me! See more

16.01.2022 Meet our wonderful patients of the week Ashleigh and Glenn Ward. Here is their journey... It all started in 2013 when I got diagnosed with severe stage 4 endometriosis at the age of 25 and then losing both Fallopian tubes 2 years later after they punctured my bowel from being 10 times the size they should have been. It was then I was told IVF was my only chance of having a family. My husband and I saw Kee in August 2015 and started our first cycle October 2015. Our daughter ...Milla Wynter came along after that cycle being successful first go 3 weeks early in July 2016, with three left in the freezer. We started project sibling after Milla turned one in 2017. Thinking how quick she came we assumed the next one would be easy too. Unfortunately we had three failed FETs in November, December and January. We then started another full stim cycle off the back of the last failed FET in January 2018, however on the way to the embryo transfer on Valentines Day 2018 we got a call from the lab to say none of the embryos had made it. Fast forward to October 2018 and we started up again with a full stim cycle with a failed fresh transfer. Kee wanted to investigate and do a small clean out so I had a d&c done in February 2019 then in March after 5 failed goes for project sibling we started another FET which resulted with our second Kee miracle daughter Delilah James coming along in December 2019. Our family is now complete thanks to Kee and his staff and we couldnt be more grateful! Dont give up on your journey because one day your dreams will come true! Thank you Ashleigh and Glenn for inspiring and spreading hope through your story. See more

15.01.2022 Its only over when we quit trying. NEVER GIVE UP!

15.01.2022 Time to introduce our patients of the week - Kylee and Andrew Dowling When we decided to start our family we never expected that the journey to create our little Halle would be such an emotional, painful and testing journey. But infertility hit us hard... one would assume like being hit by a bloody freight liner. We were shocked when we first got the results from the GP that we had fertility issues, but part of me just knew something wasnt right. In a crazy roundabout wa...Continue reading

14.01.2022 Our hero patients this week - the amazing Tarryn and Brandan Lizotte Thank you for allowing us to share your journey through the pineapple podcast.

14.01.2022 Our very special patient of the week is Mel Sharman, founder of Egg Donation Australia; a vital support for women who need the help of an egg donor. Helping multiple families to have children through both egg donation and surrogacy, Mel has children of her own and a very supportive husband! Mel has completed 8 cycles with us and we enjoy our close relationship. Mel along with her best friend Sarah are said to be the official egg donation record holders, Mel alone making 21... donations to families. She has also acted as a surrogate for 3 families helping to bring more babies into the world. Mel offers so much support to so many women and couples who are on an already tough journey. If anyone needs help or support on how to go about donating eggs or finding an egg donor, head over to Egg Donation Australia. Over to Mel... Firstly, in Australia, there are 2 ways to donate eggs; by known donation or Identity release. Identity release means that it is initially anonymous but that your information is given to the child at age 18. You cannot be totally anonymous in Australia. For me, it was as simple as no longer needing my eggs and knowing there were women out there whose lives would be changed by the gift of egg donation. For anyone considering giving this beautiful gift, I could not recommend it enough. I have never felt richer than when I have given. Its a gift that gives back every single day. https://www.google.com.au//0eb8dc9c5d26bd2b117eb5ae9c669b94

14.01.2022 Heading into the weekend with our patients of the week, Tammy and Leonard Kerr. Where do I begin; my fertility journey has been a long one, full of ups and downs. We started trying in 2006 naturally after getting married, weve been together since I was 17. After trying for a while with no luck, I went to a doctor who started checking my ovulation cycles. After finding out I was only ovulating on some cycles, we sought help from IVF . We did our first cycle and got 1 embryo... but it didnt stick. We considered adoption and foster care but eventually came back to wanting to try again ourselves. This time after a few tests, I was told I would need a egg donor. This was probably one of the hardest parts of our journey. I then felt like I was mourning my own eggs. This lead me to Dr Kee Ong, who had me in for surgery a week after our first appointment. When I woke he confirmed my suspicions that I had endometriosis, finally a reason Why! (7 years after starting for a baby) I then had a friend offer her eggs but unfortunately the eggs didnt survive and degenerated, which was devastating. Dr Kee Ong was a big support and encouraged us not to give up and to seek another egg donor. We then met Melanie Eco through EDA (Egg Donation Australia). We connected straight away and have now been friends ever since. She offered us her eggs and after having a very successful egg pick up, we got 18 eggs with 8 fertilising and 6 eggs surviving 5 days . I had my first implantation with 2 embryos but unfortunately they didnt stick. I then took a big holiday and was prepared for another try once we returned. I had another surgery to make sure there was no endo. Then after my second implantation, we were finally successful and I had a positive pregnancy test. I now still cant believe we finally have our baby girl. Meet Hailey Rose Kerr our little miracle. My fertility journey has been full of heartache but I really wouldnt change a thing. We now have so much joy and happiness everyday and are stronger and happier then weve ever been. Its made us better people overall, I really do try and appreciate all the little things in life so much more. Seeing all Haileys little milestones from smiles to talking and now crawling, even bath time and dinner are so much fun. And the joy on her face as I sing along to her nursery rhymes with her. Im cherishing these amazing moments I never thought would happen. So to all you ladies out there at all your different stages of your journey please dont give up. I have the most amazing beautiful little girl now because we never gave up. Thank you so much Tammy and Leonard for sharing your journey and beautiful video with us See more

11.01.2022 We love Thursdays - its time for our patients of the week. Ian and Macarla, thank you for spreading hope through your journey... My hubby and I have such a journey to get where we are today To finally say we have our IVF miracle here with us, Baby Mia who just turned 11 months. All thanks to Kee and the amazing nurses at Monash. Our journey started back in December 2013, Hubby and I trying to conceive naturally, 2 years trying endless ovulation kits, restricted diets a...nd anything else we could think of. In May 2015, we consulted my GP and were advised of the AMH testing to check my egg reserve. News came back low egg count which brought a tear to my eye. Our GP made the decision to refer us to Kee. Another AMH test done to confirm my egg reserve still low. To rule out why I wasn't getting pregnant, Kee recommended lapraoscopy and HSG..Had my lap in December 2016 to confirm I had severe endometriosis. And HSG showed one blocked tube. We started our first IVF cycle 2017, made it to transfer but unfortunately started bleeding one day after transfer. I knew this wasn't a good sign. The treatments were a little hard for me as I have a needle phobia, every morning driving to Monash for the nurses to do my injections. (Numbing cream being my best friend). Egg collection is such an unknown with one of my cycles resulting in no eggs at all. Then questioning myself - what did I do wrong? Cycle number 6, Kee recommended using donor eggs. 2018 we made the decision to start looking for a donor. Quicker than we thought, we found our beautiful donor Christina and she had egg collection November 2018. We opted for a fresh transfer advised by Kee telling us he was very happy, we had 7 perfect blastocysts. My lucky number 7. With fingers crossed and hubby and I staying positive, we knew this cycle would be good. On the 26th November, we transferred our lucky embryo, 11 days later it was blood test time and the anticipated wait for the phone-call. Just before lunch, the phone rang- it was one of the nurses to give us the news. Positive she said...me in shock, I said are you sure lol. Yes she replied. I hung up the phone and cried and cried. Best feeling, finally having that feeling I'm pregnant. On the 6th August 2019 I gave birth to our beautiful Mia Each day is a blessing having her here with us To all the ladies out there, please stick to the motto, Stay strong, Never give up . Your dream will come true too See more

10.01.2022 Tonight we hear from Leah for #endometriosisawarenessmonth I remember the moment my husband looked at me and said let's have a baby. In that moment I had absolutely no idea the three year journey we were about to embark on. I was on birth control for many years before we decided to try for a baby and in that time I never had a menstrual cycle. Looking back it was the birth control that masked my symptoms and any symptoms I did experience I thought were 'normal'. ... After trying for some time and knowing within myself something wasn't quite right, I booked into a specialist. I was told nothing was wrong, to keep trying for a year and was pushed out the door. I decided I wouldn't take no for an answer, I knew my body was telling me something. I wanted a second opinion and was refered to see Dr Kee Ong. During my first appointment Dr Kee Ong conducted an examination and suggested I had endometriosis. I had no idea what endometriosis was but I had an answer to my infertility problems. I went home and researched everything I could as I prepared myself for surgery. I had stage 3 severe endometriosis. I was shocked at the photos Dr Kee Ong showed me of the scar tissue taken before and after the surgery. I thought to myself how did I not know about this and for how long! Among other factors, we suspected my egg quality and quantity was poor which eventually led us down the path of IVF. We were lucky enough to fall pregnant and my little baby who is now 2 years old. Endometriosis is a common disease which can take an average of 6+ years for those living with it to be diagnosed. Educate yourself to understand symptoms, they may not be 'normal'. Ask your doctor the right questions this could save you so much time. I didn't ask the right questions, I was uneducated about this disease. I was lucky Dr Kee Ong had the experience and knowledge to ask me the right questions. Thank you Thank you so much Leah for sharing your story

09.01.2022 Male infertility is an extremely common medical problem and not a question of masculinity! Young males seem to have an assumption they carry superhero sperm when in fact, its surprisingly difficult to get one across the line. Within 30 minutes of ejaculation, over 99 percent of your swimmers will be dead or dying. They must overcome armies of antibodies, treacherous terrain and impossible odds to reach their goal. Its a big ask, even for a superhero! Many men strugglin...g to conceive generally assume the problem will lie with their partner but one third of infertility issues are male related, one third are female related, and the remaining third of cases can be attributed to joint or unexplained infertility. Heres our top ten tips on how to keep healthy swimmers in shape... - Quit smoking to improve sperm quality and increase fertility - Cut back on alcohol consumption no more than 10 standard drinks per week - Check for and treat sexually transmitted diseases - Avoid heat stress from tight-fitting underwear or working with your computer resting on your lap -Avoid anabolic steroids -Avoid illicit drugs including marijuana, cocaine, heroin, ecstasy and ice - Dont be embarrassed or afraid to get help for sexual problems - Ensure your getting the vitamins and nutrients required for healthy sperm production -Drop those excess kilos: obesity has been shown to lower sperm count - Remember age affects the male reproductive system as well.

05.01.2022 One of the most heart-breaking parts of my job is treating women who had no idea their fertility was declining and now face challenges and hurdles that could have been avoided. Every woman, by the time they turn 30 should have a very simple blood test to make important decisions for the future. The AMH or egg timer test is by far, the best indicator of a womans ovarian reserve and empowers you to further investigate a potential fertility issue; re-evaluate your situation or consider a number of options to preserve fertility moving forward. The AMH test should become part of normal routine health checks and woman must start considering fertility health at a younger age to avoid heartache down the track. Please help us spread the word

04.01.2022 Celebrity mum Amy Schumer gave birth to baby Gene aged 38. They retrieved 35 eggs from me. Not bad for the old gal right? Then 26 fertilised! Whoah right? From that we got one normal embryo she shared. It only takes one! Amy recently changed her son’s name from Gene Attel to Gene David, after realising how it sounded when said fast. We love celebrities who talk openly about their fertility struggles and keep it real!

03.01.2022 Meeting beautiful baby Willow thank you Cat and Jake for allowing me to be part of your journey Today was a very special day for me. Over the years of trying for a baby under the guidance of Dr Ong, I would often think about how wonderful it would be to one day take our own miracle baby to meet him. Today was that day. After all of the pain, the heartache, the days when I felt that I would never be a mother, the failed transfers, the early miscarriage... today we took our... miracle, Willow Grace, to meet her creator. It meant the world to us. Thank you Kee for finding the time in your busy schedule to meet Willow and give her cuddles. You really are an incredible human! We are so grateful for you every day. I hope this can help someone out there that might be having a rough day, or considering giving up, to keep going. All of our love, Cat, Jake and Willow See more
