24.01.2022 KEEP CALM- CALMBIRTH IS COMING TO YOUR HOME, FACE TO FACE VIA ZOOM. One thing is for sure, you will still birth your baby and Calmbirth will still be here to co...ntinue to support and educate you, face to face via ZOOM. ALL our Calmbirth Educators across Australia, New Zealand and France are providing the Calmbirth course face to face via ZOOM. To book a Calmbirth ZOOM course with your nearest Calmbirth Educator go to: https://calmbirth.com.au/calmbirth-classes/ Calmbirth recognizes that the COVID-19 virus is widespread and that your health and safety is paramount to us. But so is providing quality and evidence based childbirth education at a time when anxiety levels may be peaking, so we will be providing Calmbirth courses in a safe environment for ALL in the comfort of your own home via ZOOM, whilst educating you, empowering you and giving you all the knowledge, skills, tools and confidence to birth your baby and feel emotionally safe and protected. We have already held over 10 Calmbirth ZOOM courses and here is a couples testimonial from our Zoom course last weekend. "Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, insights, experience and above all for your positive approach to birth. We thoroughly enjoyed the Calmbirth course via ZOOM and will recommend it to all our pregnant friends. Being first time parents we wanted to gain an understanding of the birthing process and how to best prepare. We can honestly say we are walking away armed with a toolkit and feeling prepared to tackle the birthing journey with confidence. We were a bit hesitant about using Zoom, however this worked much better than we expected and allowed us to have a class room feel in the comfort of our home. Thank you for your warm approach Karen, we also really valued the factual data shared throughout the course, we feel confident and at ease to bring our little one into the world." Jess and Luis So empower yourself, dont wait and BOOK your Calmbirth ZOOM course today and receive your FREE Relaxation audio downloadable. One thing we know for sure is that women WILL continue to birth and fall pregnant during this COVID 19 period, this wont go away in a hurry so we need to embrace the new normal and support each other as we are all in this together. If your hospital antenatal course has been cancelled, you TOO can do our Calmbirth course via ZOOM and still get educated. If a Calmbirth course is full, please contact us to organise a Calmbirth ZOOM course with a Calmbirth Educator nearest you. For more information and for bookings, please go to our website at calmbirth.com.au We will keep you updated with the latest changes and information that may affect you and we appreciate your co operation and understanding at this time. 19.01.2022 Introducing Dr Marisa Martin. Putting a face to a name, Dr Martin is the Obstetric Specialist that oversees our womens care on MGP. Most of you would hear us ...mention her name but will never actually meet her. Most of the time women on MGP are healthy and well and will not see a doctor throughout their whole experience of pregnancy, birth and postpartum. But behind the scenes Dr Martin will be reviewing our womens health records, ultrasounds and on occasions when women develop medical issues will consult with their primary midwife for ongoing care and investigations. Dr Martin believes in holistic care of women and she is an advocate for women and their choices. We are very lucky to have such a brilliant woman behind us and are very thankful for her support! 19.01.2022 Life is about to change; there is no denying it. Your child has had your attention all to themselves for as long as they’ve lived. You may be wondering how you ...could possibly love another child as much as you love this one. You may be feeling guilty, anticipating how your child’s world is about to change. You may be asking yourself how you are going to juggle the needs of TWO little people when keeping one child happy is a hard enough task as it is! Join me on Tuesday 28 July, for this live workshop, where I will talk about how you can prepare yourself and your child for the life-changing addition of a new sibling. We will discuss: - The range of emotions you may experience. - Holding space for your child’s big feelings as they adjust to a new normal. - How you can use play to support your child with this transition. - Some practical tips for managing 'the juggle.' - How you can look after yourself and your relationship during this time. This workshop will take place live in a Facebook group. On signing up and joining the group, you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions relating to your specific situation, and I will endeavour to answer them during the live workshop. You can also ask questions during the workshop! To sign up, click here: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr
