18.01.2022 SPOTLIGHT ON TEA TREE OIL! This is one of the most versatile immunostimulant oils I know of - just a few points for your interest and usage. Botanical name - Melaleuca alternifolia... Traditional name - Ti tree Properties - Antibacterial, antiviral, anti fungal, antibiotic, antiseptic, anti pruritic, balsamic, cicatrisant, cordial, expectorant, insecticide, stimulant, sudorific. Methods of Use - diffuser ( great for ‘sick rooms’, strong smells), tissue tucked in clothes, a few drops in the shower, used in a bath ( diluted in carrier oil), directly on the skin, mixed in a carrier for protection from nits. Precautions - Do not overuse this oil as sensitivity can occur on the skin after prolonged use - less is more when it comes to essential oils Be careful putting directly onto open wounds as it can make the skin inflame, best to dilute in carrier oil.
